Thanks a lot for this video series, it has been really helpful. I have one question, when you're submiting a claim they ask you for your FTX main account's number, is this number the same as the one that appears in your Account's ID when you go to "My Account" in the upper right corner of the home page?

After reviewing my balance at Step 4 I can notice that I had a withdrawal blocked in the withdrawal section. But after I switch to Step 5, the amount of the withdrawal does not appear in the already filled amounts of what I had in my wallet.
- Should I modify these amounts ? Or is there a special procedure in step 5 for the blocked withdrawals that I missed ?
When I submit the the claim it shows a error message, but I received and email saying its done. Anyone else also face the same issue? Did you resubmit?

I have done Step 5, received a confirmation E-Mail, but my check mark isnt green yet.
On top of that I have 2 scheduled claims on kroll, basically the same claim but twice (I did it again because the first one didnt send me the confirmation mail and my check mark didnt go green). Do you think thats a problem?
Maybe that's why it's not a green check, they accepted your first one with the confirmation email but the 2nd one they didn't so it's typically still pending there. The confirmation email seems like a good step forward, you can also get an email into their support at support@ftx.com, explain what happened and see if they respond. Also seems unclear if the claim just be approved by the 29th or just submitted.

Hi ! I finish my claim request, but i'm stuck on the kroll website, anyone know how to connect or creat an account linked to ftx ? i have my ID and everything, but i don't know where i can use it :I

Mine looks exactly the same except there no green check on step 5, although when I click on step 5 there is a green check by the “Agreed scheduled Claims” box…so confusing

That's odd, Agreed Scheduled Claim is what my status is but that's the "Green check" status. Did you get a confirmation email?
i‘m in the exact same situation and i received a confirmation email including a pdf file with document id and confirmation id. status on the ftx website is still ‚not started‘ though. does anyone know about that? thank you:)
Check again after an hour or so. Mine also didn’t appear green until I checked later.
Hi, do you know if we will be charged any additional fees for filling ? I know we will probably only get back a fraction of our balance but could it be possible we actually need to pay additional charges greater than our balance? (lawyer fees etc)
I imagine there will be a partial settled balance, but that's probably the delay as they have to determine the funds available and then go through the claims to try and pay them out. I'm also not sure if we will be paid back our crypto or a cash valuation. Once I get an update I'll post a new video.

Same here, got in touch with FTX and Kroll via email and got no response thus far
Is the status "claims submitted" or "needs attention"? It may be waiting on them still if your KYC is green, if it's needs attention see if it gives you any details on what they need.

@@nosuchgreatlife I saw some other people in the comments below say it also said "not started" but when they clicked to file a claim and it takes you over to the Kroll site their claim was actually there and support said it was a bug. So I would check that your claim is actually submitted over on Kroll using that link on step 5, if it shows there it may just be a bug, if there's nothing there make sure you have submitted it. And you can try the support@ftx.com support email as well, they have responded to me before when I was stuck on KYC.

I got my confirmation email but my STEP 5 do not have a GREEN check mark yet!!!! is that need to be updated as well along with the confirmation email??

Same here. Step 5, Claim status: not started. However if I click to the File Proof of Claim button there is the scheduled claim and all the three columns show complete and are green.
Customer support reply: "The status on the FTX claims portal showing as not started would not matter for as long as you have successfully filed for your claim on Kroll then you should be good. This is a known issue from the claims portal and has already been reported."

I need tô talk with the FTX support, but they doesnt answer my emails. What the way that i should take tô contact FTX support?
Did they ever respond at support@ftx.com? I got a response mid last year but it took a few weeks, they may be just way behind. That's the only email I know of, can try to email them again if it's been a while.
Is anybody else stuck on the email verification stage? When clicking on "confirm your email" it just took me back to the login phase over and over again. After a couple times it has locked me out for 50 minutes.

You can get everything submitted I believe, the time for me was waiting on updates from their end and re-submitting. But I would at least go and get the claim turned in, maybe they have smoothed out the process with the latest updates.

Have you tried to reach out to support@ftx.com? Use the same email you had on your FTX account, at least get something in writing over to them.
@@Techtipguru HI! In the confirmation e-mail, is there any detail about the amount they owe you or only the date and number of the document ?
@@JamesVonRaynor I only received a date with confirmation number, the email wasn't great for sure, would be nice if it had a better confirmation.

Nothing on my end yet, everything seems submitted and confirmed but I have not received any communication since my last video on status or estimated payout
