There is a other way when u give away a corner at last minute and sometimes the goalie goes to the corner and if u get the ball u could just shoot it
In FIFA 23 you could R1+L1 and square (not striking) the ball from the center line inside the net.

im not sure if u managed to do it the way i have done it several times in this game, however ill share how i score (in ultimate team) on a pretty regular basis when i attempt it from the half way line (or slightly deeper in my end, which usually only happens if they have the GK out in that specific case). I will use the Lobbed pass button with the modifier that allows you place the ball where you like it manually, usually on full power. If the goalie is off centered or off his line you can double tap the lob button with the same modifier on full power to get more power but less height out of it. i have scored probably 20+ times with this method even with keepers in their net however it goes without saying itll pretty much always work if the guy has his keeper outside the 18 yrd box or if he happened to come up for the corner

You can do that with the power shot (left bumper + right bumper). I've scored like that from halfway line, twice in the "Clubs" game mode. Sadly they nerfed all kind of shots with the last patch. Is alot harder to score from distance now...

use lob pass shot instead of shoot. its more accurate and chances are 95+%
