I am glad that it helped! And yes my friend, any changes you make in the base program while using live sync will update automatically in Lumion. But 2 big disclaimers: (1) If you delete an object in the base program but for whatever reason decide to add it again, you will lose any material properties that was applied to it; essentially causing you to have to reapply your material in lumion. (2) Live sync for Revit, Sketchup and Rhino have a few inherent differences. Ex: When using live sync for revit, you can only update your materials in revit in order to see a material change in lumion (unlike sketchup or rhino). I am not to sure why this is the case with Autodesk, but for reasons like this unfortunately, you cannot take full advantage of Lumions PBR materials and I recommend just exporting your project entirely. This of course isn't always feasible especially if your project is still in SD or DD phase; I hope there is an update in the future that fixes this.
Great video. But where can i get lumion objects from? Especially beds sofas and also trees
thanks for this very informative video. btw is possible to delete wall or other component on revit/skecthup while livesync is active ?
