I like how Vince had Skyler pick up Walt’s tossed salad only for her to admit that she, in fact, allowed Ted to toss her salad. Very clever.
@@reggieflintstone9612 you can’t really prove whether he did or not so I’d prefer to imagine her salad was indeed tossed
I’ll never forgive Lewis for not accepting an omelet from Walt.
“I am the one who COOKS!”
In the last shot, Walter was genuinely a broken shell of a man. I really felt pitty on him.
The real crime is Walter never got to put the croutons on :(
Walt: "I'm using the kids to mask something terrible I did and make it seem like nothing is wrong..."
Skyler: "Hold my beer..."
Skylar is the villain of breaking bad
Skyler is just one gigantic plot inconvenience
That's generally how female leads are written in AMC shows. Remember Lori in Walking Dead? She existed only for drama.
Nah, you're just fooled by Walt's narcissism and Skylar is how most normal people would react given Walt's abusive behavior. The fact that her actress received death threats show you how stupid and cruel some people are, I guess it also shows how good the writing of the show is.
GRANTED, her cheating on Walt doesn't exactly improve the situation and it's not excusable, but Walt's behavior and their family situation was steadily stripping her sanity away. Trauma can make people do very dumb things, look at your own life and the people around you.
And now I remember why I hated Skyler
Walter should said: Yea I know, I bet $5 with Ted.
She said that so casually
@@Jaqxy she could have reported Walt to Hank and should have. Cheating on him was the best thing that could have happened
Why don’t I feel bad for Skyler at the end of Breaking Bad?
Because her sense of morality bugs you when you want to see walt dominate which is what her lack of support is chopped up to just depends on prescriptive
@@GrogedUp if you think she EVER supported Walt you need to watch this again.
That woman was vile.
@@richardpatterson4312 and if you EVER thought I said that I’d buy some glasses buddy
@@richardpatterson4312 also s5 and late 4 she was actully with the car wash but I guess you just forgot about that
Few things are more brutal than finding out the person you love and trust cheated on you. Skyler stuck the knife in and twisted it. I know I shouldn’t but part of me resents Skyler for cheating despite what Walt put her through
Walt became a monster and did terrible things to Skyler. But that doesn’t mean Skyler isn’t guilt free.
She wasn't proud of it tho. It's weird how when i watched for the 1st time i hated her. (i still do in season 1, she is written a terrible manipulative person there, later they improved her) Now, 15 years later i see her reasons! It was her way to cope, to have some control. Not the best one, i agree.
@@Adam_Nagaitis I get it but in terms of her family which was her priority, she put them at risk when she cheated. Again, I know many people will think I'm pro Walt which I'm not, but I just hate it when people think she was just some angelic victim lol.
It's a testament to the acting in the show that we are even having this conversation years later.
hmm "Having consesual sex with someone" vs "becoming a drug kingpin and entering a cruel world of violence and crime" I wonder which one is worse hmmm. Seriously all you monogamous soft tissuedsoyboys really need a reality check. What walter is a billion times worse. get it through your thick skull.
This is when he changed his cooking METHod.
...the whole scene is full of double meanings & silent signs - just great❗👌🏽
I'm positive that "Alternative Cuts" is gonna use this clip for the next episode 😅

@@abigbutterstick1780 yea he’s come a long way. He was also Banshee in the X-Men prequels
Fun Fact: Holly was in the same room as Skyler and Ted during...you know never mind
Lewis is the one that knocks
hahaha, I know right? the embodiment of politeness, I think it's awesome that Caleb Landry Jones was in Breaking Bad.
She changed him at this point ..this is where Walter White begins to disappear
so this is the backstory of specialist carter before iraq....
I love these people who stick up for Skylar. She went and humped some dolt that couldnt run a business who ended up breaking the law. Instead of supporting Walt who was trying to leave his family in a better position when he passed. She definitely chose the winner in that situation.
I get your point but I think both betrayals are on par. I don't defend what she did. But she did it for vengeance because he was not honest with her. He proved over and over that he was doing it for his own ego. To prove to himself that he really was more than just a high school science teacher, really was "the man". That means him being a present and virtuous father and husband wasn't enough for him. That speaks to the lack of importance his wife and kids really were to him. It wasn't about him taking care of his family. He relished being "the danger". She just wanted someone who was not only honest but of moral character. Great show though...
@@popspille7124 moral character...Ted just plied her with compliments and attention. There were no morals to what he did. If he had morals he wouldn't have made a move on Skylar. Regarding your other statement, it had nothing to do with him not valuing his family. If anything his time was ticking. Yeah, part of it was him making up for lost time and finally making unsafe choices. Choices he didn't make earlier in his career - he always took the safe route. All to leave his family in a good financial situation. So Skylar wasn't trying to reclaim anything. She was just annoyed with Walt.
Yes cause all the crimes walter did like murder money laundering selling drugs becoming a kingpin. All of it, all of it is okay because he was "doing it for his family". Man get head out your ass. What skyler did is peanuts against what walter white did. He was extremely selfish and endangered his entire family with his blood money and greed.
@@popspille7124 and actually your comment got me to rewatching certain episodes. Ted was no better than Walt. All the luxuries he was able to provide to his family and which Sklar admired was because of his ability to swindle the IRS through his business. Sklyar was just too caught up to see it.
Walt didn't do it for his family. He literally explains this. Walt did it for his ego, and he kept doing it knowing how much danger he was putting his family in. Skylar owes him nothing. And you talk about Ted Benneke being a criminal, but did his crimes kill people?
She not only cheated on waltuh but she gave ted most of their cash even though it was meant to go to the kids. She's honestly the worst character, constantly going back and forth with her morality only to manipulate everyone.
A great way at writing to make Skyler get attention from her husband as he was ignoring her for the better part of the previous two seasons.
I had that same exact shirt Walt is wearing. J Crew if I'm not mistaken.
Aqua Teen cameo. Taste.
I FULLY UNDERSTAND Dr. evil...
based wife trapped in marriage moment
Heisenberg-i dnt care🥶💀
Walt may have done a lot of stuff, but he never cheated on Skyler. He never even CONSIDERED it, it was never even on his radar.
I think people hate her because of the two of them, only she is an adulterer.
@@thepuirox1997 cause she cheated on him, he wanted to get back at her, he never did anything else and he didn't even kiss her
I was kind of hoping that she would've just kissed him then backed off. Then came home and told Walt that just to piss him off, having not actually done it. Ted was such an idiot of a character. His great aunt probably agreed before her untimely passing.
To someone who has never seen this show, none of this scene makes any sense
If you've never seen this show, you're a lucky person then, bc you have an advantage to watch it for the first time in your life! 🔥Something none of us in this comment section has
Don’t worry half the people commenting on this video don’t understand the show whatsoever
@@johng5617 what? you're telling me Walter White isn't heroically and selflessly trying to save his family from his vindictive cheating wife?
It's Lewis!
Ah one of the many scenes that makes the “Skyler was innocent” section of the fandom look like a joke. Almost as bad as people still claiming Jesse did nothing wrong.
She wasn't innocent. Still she wanted to divorce and Walter didn't let her.
Also Jesse did nothing wrong. The whole thing with Jesse wanting to kill Gus' dealers happened because of Walter.
He wanted their business to get bigger and overtake the territory of other dealers.
Everything only happened because of Walt's ego.
He sold his company shares out of pride, he didn't take the money from Elliot and Gretchen.. the list could go on for a while.
This was the moment Skylar became Skysenburg
Question: I didn't watch BB in a long time, but was this BEFORE or AFTER she found out about Walt's "Job"
@@Adam_Nagaitis Okay good, if this was before I would've kind of understood the hate she got
@@sherlockhomeless4928 same here. 🤜🤛 I already said somewhere down there, it was her only way to have some control
After.
She literally only did it to pass him off bad enough to get him to leave.
She kept asking him to leave and he wouldn't.
@@sherlockhomeless4928She's still bad, before she found out about Walt she was already helping him commit tax evasion. Also as much as she puts down Walter she willingly used his money to help Hank walk again and more importantly she used the money he made to save herself from prison for tax evasion. She was still hateable, even if Walt was too.
I'd like to see Skyler chained up forced to cook meth not Jesse xD
Jesse was loveable
Skyler by enabling him, allowed everything to happens the way it did, while I understand the hopelessness she felt, she choose not to go to the cops, when she had Every opportunity to do so. Instead she chooses petty revenge, while families are getting poisoned and destroyed by Walts meth. I mean this isn't a case of your husband cheating on you with a younger woman, this is a criminal entreprise we are talking about.
My main problem with skyler and the family scenes at large in this show, is that they subtract from the gangsta and Mafia shit I wanted to see. I know that kind of dealings would break up a familly, but I honestly don't care about them, because they're insuferable from scene one.
Hey chill bro Walt and Gale were just libertarians. Consenting adults want what they want, at least with Walt they’re getting exactly what they pay for. No added adulterants no contaminants.
Skylers only good scene lol
But remember, Walt is the bad guy, and you're terrible if you think Skyler did anything bad.
“Honesty is good, don’t cha think?”
1 minute later:
“But really, keeping secrets from each other is even better, don’t cha think?”
Yeah she cheated but he literally destroys the entire family. Never understood the amount of hate she gets when Walt is a thousand times worse than her.
Because she was annoying. If she wasn't in the show it wouldn't have changed anything.
She cheated on him because it's the only thing she could do to get back at Walt.
She couldn't call the cops, she couldn't tell Hank or Marie, she couldn't take away Flynn and Hollie from Walt.
Any control she had over her life was lost when Walt became a criminal, except for Beneke.
@@Uraneeum235 yeah when your husband is a psycho meth dealer it is completely morally correct to cheat on him, 100% of the time
@@Uraneeum235 He didn’t say say her cheating was okay, he said that what Walt did was much worse. Can’t believe the room temp IQ part of the fandom thinks the cheating is more reprehensible than drug distributing, killing, and child poisoning 😂
Imagine, living off your husband's drug money, then cheating and spending your husband's backup savings coz you f*cked up from auditing= Skylar 😆
she is a bad actress
I hated her character but I wouldn't say Skyler 'cheated' on Walt...
Walter would have had amazing success if he would have had Jesse and Skylar wacked early on.
