In my opinion, ten is not a face of the group kinda person. His mastery exists deep within him. In other words, he is simply too talented to be in a group! The way he dances is just too elegant and too much for 127’s crowdedness. Honestly, I actually like what they did with Ten. Because the way they hide him for the most important moments (debut of NCT, duel comeback with the ace, solo moment in Black on black) develops kinda a mysterious feeling for me. Seriously, he feels like a God to me, and I love it! That being said, I do think SM should give him more solo or duel opportunities. More comeback for U in general I think.

I'm glad Ten is getting better treatment now - Johnny, Winwin and Yuta are getting more lines but considering the amount of years since debut it's sad that it's only happening now. Most of NCT can be classified as aces because they're all that talented, SM not treating them all right is awful. You can say it's because they have a lot of members but things like dance/rap/singing covers should be utilised more. I'm happy Johnny and Winwin have their own corners in YT. Yuta has gotten one of his first jobs, a radio dj and was able to get it extended due to popularity even tho it was for Loveholic promotions. The underrated memebers still do amazingly publicly regardless and it just shows all of what's being missed.
Members like Kun could branch out and explore more musically and Taeil [he gets the lines but he I need more than the ost, covers + purple] can go solo but ofc if he's okay with it. Dream need that full album and non rushed promos. Not many members have to go military but whatever SM do with both categories when the time comes, I hope is something right. I guess most groups will face mistreatment and favouritism but when it's your faves you really don't want that for them.
