- In this video i have created an easy to follow step by step guide for the Yamaha Yzf R1with how to remove the catalytic and replace it with a link pipe. Doing this along with the Akrapovic slip on not only sounds amazing and has the potential of shooting the occasional flames. But coupled with a tune can give you some better power gains also.

@@matt1625 It makes the 04 R1 feel like a 600 to be honest, , got it last week, it’s like a moto-gp bike all electronic and fly by wire , typo it’s the 2022 😎👍✊

@roberttaggart5757 where can I find a pipe like this? Amazon ain't showing it? Idk what to type in the search bar or at least for ebay. Do I need to put the year of the r1?
Are you going to tune the bike? Would be interesting to see the power gain. You explained the process so nice.

@@DaSpedzaMotoVlogs if nothing else just send the ecu out to get it flashed. The good ones can bring it to within a couple of hp from a full on Dynotune. Good video. I'll subscribe cuz I'm only about $3k shy of buying my very own 15-'16 R1.
