    Thank you for mentioning never learning to ride a bike, I always feel embarrassed when I had to say I never learned cause people either look at me like I'm a weirdo, or simply say something that makes me feel bad.

    The biggest benefit for me in making the seat higher is that I can extend my legs properly when peddling. If you can't straighten those legs, it's both bad for the knees because of added stress, and it also wears the legs out faster.

    • @sixthreezero
      @sixthreezero  3 роки тому +2

      Thanks for sharing. Our tricycle models have a pedal-forward which gives our riders an ample amount of leg extension when riding even if the seat is lower. You can also check them out here - www.sixthreezero.com/blogs/bike-advice/what-is-a-pedal-forward-bicycle.

    Hi there, I got my new e-trike last week, I’m in Australia. They are starting to become popular here which is great for me, I am ex-army with back, foot and balance issues (among others). The trike has already helped me to safely get out of the house and exercise by myself and given me back that independence I have lost over the last few years. There is almost no content on you-tube about trikes/e-trikes so I really appreciate all your content. One question, does anyone have any advice for riding on roads in Australia? You can only ride on roads under 50km/hr and most have a really steep camber on the edges where you have to ride. I am having a tough time getting the hang of it, so any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    I bought a new one also, paid over 600.00 for it at a professional bike shop and have only ridden it once because I crashed twice on it and injured my knee pretty bad when it suddenly veered to the left and went into the curb and through me off of it and onto the street. What would cause this to happen. Now I am afraid to ride it !!

    • @sixthreezero
      @sixthreezero  2 роки тому

      Hi Carol, we're sorry to hear about the crashing. There are few things that are needed to be looked at why this happened. It could be misalignment or something needs to be adjusted on one of the rear wheels, or other components. The best is to take it to a local bike shop to have it checked. If it's our tricycle, you may send us an email to theteam@sixthreezero.com.

      @Kharizmah 2 роки тому +3

      The first thing to realize is that it's not a bike. I know that sounds obvious, but it is everything when you are highly accustomed to riding a bicycle. With bicycles you lean forward slightly and you lean into curves. With tricycles you sit proper almost straight backed (which is why some come with a back rest). You lean back into curves. The way you shift your weight is different. Near gutters you will almost have to maintain the wheel pointing away from the curb instead of straight because the wheel will want to tilt down slope.
