Here is a FACT! This video was posted in 2009. Kingda Ka opened in 2005 and has a 400+ foot drop and still has the record. And even in 2000 when Goliath opened, Millennium Force at Cedar Point opened and has a 300 foot drop compared to 255 feet.
And in between kingda ka and mill force there was the top thrill dragster (also at cp) that was tallest in the world UNTIL k.k. was made (now is the second tallest/fastest in world) it is still there to this day so maybe at one point this was a super tall ride but it isn't the tallest and probably never was A/N: I don't mean any hate by this but I've been to c.p. 20+ times and I know it like the back of my hand and I've been on both k.k. and top trill at least 1 time each and I enjoy wasting my time on trying to help people know roller coaster facts as well as I. It's not there now, but for a few years, Six Flags Over Georgia had a coaster called the Georgia Cyclone, which was modeled after the Cyclone at Coney Island. I remember when their Great American Scream Machine was the world's longest, fastest, and highest coaster. It now pales in comparison to some of the more modern coasters.

I think OP was referring to tallest Full Circuit Coaster Drop. Superman EFC is a shuttle coaster. Goliath held the title of longest drop for 4 months, until Millennium Force from Cedar Point opened. Adding 50ft to the record, and breaking the giga barrier. With Top Thrill Dragster breaking the Strata barrier, and KingDa Ka holding the current record at almost twice the height of goliath.

Nice ride! When I still lived in SoCal, the place was called Magic Mountain (not owned by Six Flags yet) and they just opened the dual-track wooden coaster beside this new coaster. I believe that where this coaster is was just a parking lot. Good to see the place has continued to grow.

I rode this a few months ago. I went from being scared of the drop to being scare of getting decapitated by the tunnel (I'm 6'1"). But the rest of the ride is fun. It's so rewarding to get over that fear

Two things. First of all, heights. Dunno if you’re okay with heights but believe it or not, 235 feet is fucking huge and also terrifying. Two, g-force. Due to forces like positive g’s pressing against the riders, most likely they wouldn’t be able to scream because of the pressure.

Yeah Goliath wad pretty fun when I rode it. But I think Twisted Colasis was even better imo, or that Flying Dragon one was also 🔥. In Fuji-Q, that 120° drop was remarkable ngl. I like rollercoasters.

Medusa Steel Coaster’s, Storm Chaser’s, and Twisted Timbers’s barrel roll drops are still called drops.
People call the fall back down off of top hats drops.
Other “slide drops” like on The Beast’s second drop are still considered drops.

I’ve been on this ride before but it has changed a bit since 2009 and I have to say that it is a reallyyyyy fun ride
I rode this a few months ago. I went from being scared of the drop to being scare of getting decapitated by the tunnel (I'm 6'1"). But the rest of the ride is fun. It's so rewarding to get over that fear

The fact is, everybody screams when there peacefully going up then when they go down, there moths stay shut
Two things. First of all, heights. Dunno if you’re okay with heights but believe it or not, 235 feet is fucking huge and also terrifying. Two, g-force. Due to forces like positive g’s pressing against the riders, most likely they wouldn’t be able to scream because of the pressure.
