- This was definitely the hottest race of the year but we made the best of it. Chase drove his butt off and learned a lot of new stuff. Basketball there several times.

Great job driving chase
Nashinator awesome race. Just a few tips I am sure your dad has already talked to you about; 1) Try to time the start better, pay close attention to the 4 wheeler/pace car. 2) on the start be as close to the car in front of you as possible but give yourself enough room to pass the car without getting into it. 3) when you are running by yourself set driving marks in your head and hit those marks every lap. We would always check a new track out before hot laps and set those marks in my head during hot laps I would adjust those marks to get the fastest lap(s) possible 4) You are one of the best young drivers I have seen in a long time you actually remind me of a young Jeff Gordon when he was racing go karts. If you don’t know who he is, ask your dad or paw-paw. Love these videos of Nashinator racing takes me back to my childhood many many moons ago.

Might not have won but that's the best he has looked out there. Plus I really didn't see anything wrong with his starts. I thought he timed them perfect. Great job little man!

Tim, you need to start teaching him how to listen to his RPMs and know when he's scrubbing off speed from diving in to early.
No shame in that game buddy. Finishing on the podium is where it's at. If ya can't win it ya at least wanna be on the podium. You learned a lot from that race. You learned how to be patient with the starts and restarts which I seen by you letting off on the third restart at the start of the race. You knew you were a bit ahead and left off to get them back by ya and then started diggen on sending it to the front. You also learned how to be patient when it comes to making a pass which was seen by ramping the left rear wheel of the leader LETTING OFF to get off his rear and then attempting again. Had you not learned anything from it you would have just stayed on it and spun the kid out. So, I'm happy to see you learning as you go, that's what it's all about. Tech is tech, it is what it is. You have to run the grey area cuz if you don't the guy that finishes ahead of ya will. You pass some you fail some we all had our tech strawberry snagged in the past if ya find someone that says they didn't they either never won or weren't on the podium haha. Good job buddy and onto the net race. At your age as long as you went out there and did your 110% best, learned something and had fun I wouldn't care if you finished sixth. It's all about learning and having fun at your age. Well done Nashinator well done buddy. Hey POPS, make that grey area a millimeter or two smaller next time for the nogo lol.

That no go carburetor tool is not that good next time let the carburetor cool down they got me at Harrisburg in door and once the carburetor cooled down we got the win
