The top and bottom parts of the oufits are their own things if I recall from another video. You can also change their colors as well so you can make your own original look with the pieces.

when they wear battle armour it's always round their waist from what i've seen anything else it's not i think the only exception of armour not doing this are vegetas dbs suit and gines battle suit

Greninja do Ash Ketchum challenge an enemy with the energy you want (blue for earthlings, red for sayians, green for nameks, purple for outworlders ie. Buus and Kai's, and yellow for aliens) make sure they have a star under their health bar, and end the match by KOing them with a Zenkai attack. they HAVE to be the last live and defeated with the attack for it to work. BUT you can't even start scouting for new people until you've completed Master Roshis training on how to do it to begin with. keep this in mind
Some time around the Cell games, you'll be introduced to the ability to recruit other characters in battle. You have to recruit a character of the appropriate race in order to increase your energy capacity. Red - Saiyans. Blue - Earthlings. Green - Namekians. Yellow - Aliens. Purple - Offworlders.
Too bad your outfit doesn't effect you're EX fusions appearance I think your outfit always defaults back the the original outfit you wear at the start of the game
I'm pretty sure it doesn't because there's another person who does videos with this on their Channel and their fusion still has the outfit he got from Nail

I'm not ignoring my subs, but when they all ask the same question that I answered a couple comments below them it can get annoying

Yes you can, the costume goes back to basic when you're fusing with your guy BUT you can change the outfit still and change the colors.
Kai the ssj yes you can but you cant change the color of every little thing like in xenoverse
