Thank you for a solid review. This is a breathe of fresh air compared to most reviewers who just complain about nvidia’s marketing and the review is an afterthought.
Great video! You mention the different between OC version and the normal version. This card are on my wish list. Do you think I will regret not buying the OC version? I never overclok though...
You can OC both either way if you choose it, it doesn't mean it's "unlocked" or anything like you'll see with Intel K series processors, the OC version just means it's already had the clock pushed higher from the factory. The OC version might not be able to be pushed as far manually, if you wanted to do it, as it's already been done at the factory. The standard edition usually has a bit of headroom (you can usually get them to the OC versions clocks) if you want to try it later on.
It looks like they use different cooling fans on the non oc version? Does it make a difference with the noise levels, because they maybe use cheaper fans?
funny thing (from before watching the entire video), This card was the cheapest 4070ti for sale at the local memory Express (Canada). And the 4070ti card is quite a bit smaller then the 4080 and 4090 cards
Hi I have a question…. What’s the difference between OC edition and gpu tweak 3???? I’m planning on building my first pc so I have no idea what do those mean. What do you recommend for me?? I play a lot of different games.
OC means factory overclocked as I mentioned in the video, and GPU tweak is a piece of software. I'd run it straight out of the box as is. it's set to OC mode and doesn't need anything touched.
Check out my AP201 build, I used this card in it. The PSU wasn't in the bottom position but you can see the clearance and stuff - ua-cam.com/video/5e78OiCRfyY/v-deo.html
@@jordanash I saved it and I will check it tomorrow. Thanks. I have already returned a Gigabyte 4070ti Gaming because it was too long and Asus didn't mentioned that 338mm is with a short PSU in either 2nd or 1st position. So I can't return again
@@jordanash I have seen the video this morning. Thank you. It helps a lot considering the asus manual for ap 201 is wrong. Now to see if the store I have contacted have it and at a decent price.
It *would* be an upgrade, but I don't know if it's that worthwhile. Maybe if you can get a good price for the 3090, otherwise I'd wait. Or look at the 7900XTX
@@jordanash The 4080 and the 4090 tuf gaming has no good reviews and stars, except for the 4070 Ti... i'm really looking for this one, to replace my 3090 tuf gaming, when i'm gonna get the money.
Depends what you're looking for. The Noctua is a lot quieter, but more expensive and has a specific colour theme. If you're happy with that, then go for it.
I usually do, but I wanted to show the monitor that was sent out, plus there's so much to set up. When I use a capture card people think I'm recording using OBS then try to tell me how that would cause frame drops 🙃 I just wanted to get this done, plus I think it looks good anyway.
I'm saying that I said what the program/game is in the video, it's the settings *for* Cyberpunk 2077, then your 6:18 timestamp is when the benchmark is finished

Thank you for the kind words, it really means a lot to me. Being being a smaller creator comments like this make the persistence worth it.
Literally just found the channel chasing 4070Ti super reviews and really enjoyed it !
Great, love to hear that!
I have the same card! I love how the size of the card is smaller than other variants. I don't need to move my radiator in my front case
Awesome! Yeah it's great for squeezing into cases.

@@jordanash Thank you :) I guess its not much different in fps maybe...
No problem. No it won't be much, you could probably count on one hand the fps in the games I tested.

it depends, my zotac 4070ti AMP extreme is pretty DAMN big and close to the same size of some 4080 aib's.

Random question, where did you get your chassis from?
Overclockers UK
Do you think we can OC it manually more ? I have this card and it never reach more than 65 degrees tho
I don't think it would be worth it in all honesty, the headroom is so small nowadays.
Thinking about getting this to replace my MSI Rtx 3070 gaming X trio, will is even see a upgrade?
Oh definitely, that'll be a nice jump
I’m trying to buy the white version of this card but I’m not sure if it’s a good choice over the gigabyte aero oc.
I've only tested the 4070 Aero not the Ti, but they're great cards
What is the velcro thing for. It doesnt look like most cable ties . But thats the only thing i can think of.
That's all it's for I think.
@@jordanash its not a very good one lol
Probably just to put around the adapter to give it some branding. Might have been to just "include" something extra.
i have a 3060 currently would this be a good upgrade currently?
Yes, definitely
Are you playing on 4k, 1440p, or 1080p.
I mentioned that before pretty much every benchmark
Does this card fits inside an asus prime ap201 with a long PSU and the PSU container the the lower position, like nothing fits under it ?

You'll be fine with the TUF in the AP201, there's plenty of room as you'll see.
