I love this version because it shows sometimes it’s us who are our own worse enemy. Sometimes the people around us aren’t the problem, sometimes we ourselves extinguish our own love/confidence/happiness/etc.
I love how she makes the heart seem so innocent, pure, emotional, desperate, all of those raw emotions but the brain is cold and stead fast in it’s ways.
In my opinion I see the heart as a child that is looking for love and fun and the brain is an overprotective parent who doesn't want us to get hurt in the process.
Oh my gosh the slightest differences between the two are so powerful, the brain looked more alarmed when they saw the spark, whereas the heart seemed hopeful and dependent on this spark, and when the brain took it the heart looked so innocent and pure, where the brain was trying to protect the heart knowing it would hurt. Ugh phenomenal honestly
