I recall seeing you and the aircraft several times. First at Fulton County then at OSH and then again at Toledo along with your Jag. This video setup is perfect for catching the “flavor” of what it’s like to fly in a Stemme. Thanks for posting. By the way ,that was more than one landing😉. We’ve ALL been there done that. Especially with those winds…Thanks for posting.
Glad to see you back airborne again, 11:38 - spoiler alert ! Tells us what's coming next. I was wondering why there weren't recent S12 videos around. Didn't know they'd been grounded.
Is there a bit more aircraft vibration than in last year's video when cruising under power at 80+ mph? Might just be the camera mount a tiny bit looser, but compared to the NW Ohio flight at similar speed there are more motion blurs and artifacts. I noticed it because your videos are so characteristically smooth and high quality.
Thanks for the quality comment! I am using a different mount with this new Stemme. Next time I visit the hangar (too darned windy for a while) I will look at picking a different mount point. Again, thanks!
I got the new clutch by trading my 2018 S12 S/N 012 for a brand new S12G S/N 045, goal Garmin G3X among other major improvements like being able to lock the wings without having to lift the tips about 45 pounds worth to make the pins line up
