Also was wondering if you could make it a tips for freshers join in Sheffield and general Sheffield content as I and many others will be very interested. Love you so much xx
Heyy, hope you're doing well! I'm currently a first-year and am looking for accommodation for next September and I think your room looks great! Being from Sheffield, and knowing the area pretty well, I recognised your apartment block from looking at them myself ( I won't mention which one to ensure that your Privacy is kept 🙂) and just wondered about your experience so far? I have however read the reviews and they don't look too good. They mention things such as the bins not being emptied, poor conditions, leaky sinks, water damage to the elevator, bad communication with onsite staff, and the list goes on. I had a follow-up call with one of the reps and she reassured me that those were before the current management took over the building, so things are so much cleaner and better now. With all this being said, I just wanted to see how you were doing and how the conditions are, as this is on my list for potentials, but if the reviews are as they are (all being from a year ago) then I worry about contemplating this one. Take care and hope you get a better sense of the Sheffield nightlife when things start to open back up! 🙂
hey, i’ve had an okay experience with my accommodation, on site staff are lovely, and everything is in good condition, the only problems i’ve had have been with construction work being done on the building, all social spaces being closed, no security when it was promised in the contract and not being allowed visitors due to covid & no rebate in my rent, but all the things mentioned in the reviews i think have changed but the covid situation hasn’t been dealt with very well so that’s been disappointing xx

When I had a follow-up call with one of their staff members, they assured me that all of the reviews were from the preview building owners, in which they have now taken over the place and the rooms that were inhabited were being refurbished. It was misleading seeing the website and how boujee it looked and then seeing the reviews, so again thank you for clearing those up! 😊 I am glad I stayed home this year with everything going on, but overall if you had the experience you do now, would you make the same choice of accommodation? (Sorry, not meaning to put you on the spot 😅) It's not been the best year for students, but I hope you are well and canny wait for the upcoming videos. Thank you and Take care XO
