I love the look of snow in the landscape. It’s just so beautiful. 😍
So peaceful!
Hi Carla! What a lovely, cozy video! The soup looked absolutely delicious and those homemade biscuits you showed made my mouth water!
I too love baby’s breath and what a great idea for candle wreath! I also loved the heart you made with the leftovers and other flowers, so pretty! Perfect for Valentine’s!
Thank you Tina, have a wonderful week!!
Hi Carla, your home is so beautiful and has a warm ambience, I just love your decorating style. The beautiful views of the snow outside are stunning. Your soup looks so delicious and I can't wait to make it too. The beautiful craft with the babies breath is so delicate and beautiful. I love. Thank you for another great video❤
Thank you so much Maria and thank you for watching. Have a wonderful week!
I love snow days, Carla, and I spend those days doing exactly what you did.....decorating, cooking and crafting! I love homemade mushroom soup, and yours looked delicious! I also loved the little wreath and need to make one of those! Thank you for another beautiful video!
Thank you Lori, I'm glad you could join me on my cozy day at home. Have a beautiful week!

Thank you! 😊
Thank you, such a lovely video. The wreaths look perfect. Soup looks yummy
Thanks so much! 😊
Lovely
Love your videos they are the best I also love New England Fine Living with Linda they are just lovely. Look forward to them every Sunday.
Thank you so much!
I put a large bouquet of baby's breath in a vase alone with water & it lasts AGES. Such beautiful winter white, delicate small flowers. Best bang for your buck in cut flowers.
I agree! They can sometimes be hard to find (Bouquets of just Baby's Breath) though, but such a delicate beautiful flower.
Your home looks so beautiful
Thank you very much Joann!
Hi Carla! I enjoyed watching you make the wreath and candle ring. Your home is beautiful and so warm. I live in Tennessee and we just had a week of snow. 10 to 12 inches. It is very RARE that we get that much snow. We don't get snow very often. We also had very cold weather which was in the teens and single digits. It was beautiful to look at. It started last weekend and is still on the ground and roads. I really love your videos, like when you go to different towns. I don't get to come that way, so it is nice to see. The church at the end of the video is beautiful. Thank you for sharing and have a Blessed week.
Thank you Kay. Wow, that's quite a bit of snow for Tennessee! Stay safe and have a beautiful week!
Hint for soup or gravy: to dissolve flour in a second, just put some liquid and the flour in a small jar, put the lid on tightly and shake....voila. No lumps in a few seconds. Add to the soup.
Love, love your snow scenes.- simply beautiful.
Yes, that is normally how I do it (like when adding a thickener for gravy), but this recipe had you do it this way, so I tried it. Thank you Marie and enjoy your week!
I have less than a handful of videos I watch regularly. This is one of them. Love what you’re doing on your channel! Linda mentioned you & she where going thrifting. That’s one of my favorite things to do with a girlfriend. Blessing’s from Bethlehem, New Hampshire!❤
Thank you SO much Gina, that means a lot. Yes, we went thrifting and lunching the other day and had a lot of laughs as usual. We also checked out the new Ben's Sugar Shack in Temple. I would definitely recommend it if you're in the area....it has only been open roughly a month and is now a Store carrying so many fun products (a lot New England made) and also has a Deli/Cafe. Stay warm!!
What a very pretty introduction to your video Carla, love all the whites against the snowy background, it all looks so lovely. Gypsophila is one of my favourite flowers, it looks lovely mixed with other flowers or just on its own in a pot, but the garland you made is beautiful, I will definitely give it a go. Thank you for sharing & the yummy soup recipe, we are due a lot of rain over here so now I have two projects to tackle.. Kind regards…☺️
@jean2927 Stay nice & cozy! 😊
Very calming and beautiful video embracing January. My favorite colors are white, mushroom and the color of sand. The soup looks delicious! The candle ring among the shells makes a pretty picture. Thanks for posting today! 🤍❄️ 🍲
Thank you Brenda. All of the colors you mentioned are so calming, favorites of mine also.
Wonderful video, Carla!
Oh my goodness, when I saw that you were making mushroom/leek soup I couldn’t wait to get your recipe. I’m passionate about mushroom dishes but had never even thought of adding leeks into the soup. Thank you for that!
The baby’s breath craft is just precious, well done! Every time you show your home’s interior it looks more & more cozy - your hard work & your husband’s is really paying off.
The outdoor scenes are gorgeous, I so yearn to live in New England - wintertime there is so beautiful!
🙂
Thank you so much Melinda. The soup was very good and also very filling. Have a great week!
I really enjoyed this video and just subscribed! I am a fellow New Englander, living in Connecticut! I look forward to more videos. 😊
Thank you and Welcome Debbie!
What a lovely way to spend a snowy day...the soup looks delicious and the wreaths both look so pretty along with your Winter white decor. I hope your bulbs flower for you. The Church at the end of the video looks beautiful x
Thank you so much! The Church at night in the snow was just beautiful!
What a lovely video! The soup looked tasty and it looked like the candle ring was an easy project! Thanks for sharing.
Your candle ring turned out beautiful. The heart shaped wreath is so pretty. You made me so hungry with your mushroom soup. I will be making some soon. The snow coming down is just wonderful. You live in a beautiful part of the country and your home is decorated so beautifully. Enjoying your video’s.
Thank you so much!
Love your heart and circle wreath, and all the white absolutely beautiful

Hi Carla, your wreaths turned out beautifully. I love winter white, even in clothing. Your soup looked delicious and sounds good on this cold wintry Sunday. ❤

Wonderful!!!!
América is very nice .☁☁☁✨🔝🇺🇸
Never thought to make my own candle ring. This Christmas I was searching all over for some. I think a trip to Jo Anns is in order !
Oh good, I'm glad I could help! lol
Hi Carla , pretty snow fall there... we had our share of cool snow here in NE Indiana , it is winter right !! The soup looks cozy .. could you use the same base and make clam chowder?? Your candle ring turned out so pretty ! Stay safe ! hugs Paula
Thank you Paula. I think Clam Chowder needs a more creamy base than this was, this wasn't as thick and creamy as I've had in a Chowder. Have a great week!!
Absolutely beautiful and I love your curtains may I ask were you got them
Thank you Diane. I just linked the curtains below the video for you.....the best way for me to show you. Have a great day!
