SB19's leader Pablo said that he had written this track to "inspire people to be appreciative of everything that our parents did for us and to give back". He said in a press release, "It implies that our parents serve as our guidance and direction in life. We released this song to show gratitude and appreciation for helping us survive all the challenges and difficulties that we've encountered growing up."
Member Josh explained, "Pablo first composed the melody, getting inspiration from a lullaby that his mother would sing to him when he was a child. He wanted to make a song that conveys the feeling of being taken care of by one's parents. He proceeded to write lyrics that equate our parents as the 'map' that guides us to be the best versions of ourselves."

Ken's voice really never fails to amaze me. His deep voice and his sudden shifts to falsettos are really rich and colorful. Magaling din siyang mag harmonize and his voice complements the voices of the other members. He is a reliable singer who can give you goosebumps with every note he sings. I must say though na hindi na ako surprised sa performance niya dito kasi matagal na siyang ganito: magaling at maasahan. I hope that he's given more challenging parts sa susunod na releases.

From a few lines, he was already given the big responsibility of singing the first verse and he sang it perfectly. Sobrang tricky kantahin ang opening verse coz you're the one who will set the entire mood for the song and I must say our Bunso did well! Indeed, practice will never betray you. Congrats Bunso and keep on improving your craft. Dito lang mga Kuyas mo to cheer you on!
So true. Dun sa talk nila before performance nito, nasabi ni Ken kay Justin, "Ngayon alam mo na kung gano kahirap mag-umpisa ng kanta." Totoo yon, ang unang bungad ng kanta can make or break the whole song. And Ken knew it all too well and he always do a good job. Nakakapressure talaga ang role na yon. But I'm glad Pablo chose Bunso to do the first lines, nakakaantig ang boses nya and he sounded so gentle and pleading. He really captured what most children who love their mothers feel and want to say in real life. I hope he will continue to gain more confidence in his voice and continue improving it.
