Activision needs to wake up, and realize these streamers are NOT helping their game remain popular or good. They're actively hurting it.
Tho to be fair. Sound EQ wouldnt even be used. If they did decent audio. They have literally the worst audio of all the online pvp shooters I have ever played. Bar none. People are always seeking ways to fix that botched mess. Fortnite has no issues, even has in built 3d audio, with visualization to boot. COD has no excuses.
Not gonna lie, my confidence wavered a little bit during that live stream but now I see it was all a big part of the master plan … Go on with your bad ass self call of shame!

Lately I have been finding more and more people using walls. But the game play has gotten easier for sure. I really believe this would not have been possible without COS shedding a light on this disgusting corrupt world.

I be honest I had concern that the engine owning interview would have a promotional effect but I glad it finally had the effect intended and forced the hand of activision.
Change game files is cheating using something like steel series sonar is not. That’s my opinion.
The only reason I’d use EQ is bc I’m hard of hearing and can’t hear like the normal human being, I’d modify it just so I can hear to the average human being

Yo that bite of burrito was crazy work….
I've had a DAC for years that have a "scout mode" which does that by itself, it greatly improves footsteps but it sounded so bad I never used it for anything. If you want to hear footsteps get an actual quality pair of headphones, not gaming headphones. I use AKG K 712 Pro as my gaming headphones and trust me, you don't EQ equalization if you have an actual good pair of headphones that accurately reproduce sound.
A great starter pair if you can do open backs is the Phillips SHP9500 or 9600. 9500 are better imo but they are the older model and sometimes can be hard to find. They typically go for around $80 USD, which a lot of times is the same or cheaper than A LOT of gaming headphones and are WAY superior in everyway. If you can't do open backs because of noise etc, something like Audio-Technica ATH-M20X also really good for the money. Any kind of reference headphone even a $30-50 pair will smash the sound quality of a $200 "gaming" headset.
Looking forward to xdefiant. Also helldiver's 2 has been a nice break from this toxic broken game. So many hackers every lobby. Activision is pathetic but it's the consumers who also need to stop playing. Keep up the good work exposing these nerd streamers.

Day 1 ranked, "All those in the top 250 cheat or play with cheaters." This was an obvious statement on day 1. All leaderboards in videogames have always been devs and cheaters.
It sounded like if you gain SR from a hacker you will be banned. Can we assume that means if you are grouping them before the ranked game and not if you are paired with them? Once you hit diamond in ranked you get paired with hackers every other game (at least you did in Fortunes Keep)... Hopefully they are looking at it like this and not the latter.
