    The offense is your defense is nicely shown. That is a concept of many Krav Maga and other styles teachings too.
    But while this teaser is flashy I miss grappling defense. And the knife defense... any technique is better than no technique. Still I hope knife defense involves defending vs. 1 arm holding the victim and the other spamming cuts and thrusts quickly. And we all know how you defend vs. a knife in general ;)... right, you don't.
    Looks cool, though and I would do that seminar for the strike defense.

      Adville747 and I’m a 1st Dan in TKD with 6 years of experience. Saying that TKD is only stunts is like saying that Kung Fu is only wushu. Furthermore TKD, real TKD and not what you just mentioned, comes from Shotokan Karate. So it does have hand strikes, blocks, and everything else. Don’t believe me? Search TaeKwonDo hand strikes on here and look for the videos by TaeKwonDoCentral. And also Olympic TaeKwonDo, which is not the real deal, only does kicking. How do I know it’s not real TKD? One reason is that TKD translates to “way of the foot and fist” but yet Olympic TaeKwonDo is only kicking.

    • @Kenzaki1010
      @Kenzaki1010 4 роки тому

      @Traditional Arts International Wrong and wrong again.
      I am head firearm instructor of my own training company. certified under Master Sergeant Paul Howe of CSAT and Pistol master Dave Spaulding of Handgun Combatives.
      I served, mandatory, in foreign country army before I came to the US as an exchanged student, and I am now naturalized Citizen in Republic state of Texas. I am neither a student anymore nor part of left wing.
      Now! instead of ad hominem attack, can you enlighten me on how TKD have anything to do with room clearing (a skill that I was taught by the best and taught to Dallas PD as part of my curriculum) and how bayonet fight is relevant when the even the army removed bayonet lug from their firearm to save weight?

    • @Kenzaki1010
      @Kenzaki1010 4 роки тому

      @Traditional Arts International That's it? Not a word of your experience as a soldier or any insight of application of TKD in anything, but a video of UK troop practice drill? Is that the extended of your "know thing about being a soldier."?
      In the army where I served, recruits do exercise with heavy spear, stabbing sand bag, throwing spear at strawman and all. Do you know what we do not have in our equipment list when we was sent out? A spear. It is an exercise tool, not a weapon.
      Its called a hint, when the strongest armies on Earth drop the Bayonet from their weapon training program.
      Even if I give you that bayonet is still in use as weapon widely, which I do not, what about TKD that enhance bayonet skill? Would a weapon based martial art be a better training method?

    • @Kenzaki1010
      @Kenzaki1010 4 роки тому

      +@Traditional Arts International And again with ad hominem attack. I think your insecurity is showing.
      If you ever hold a riot shield, which I did, kicking will be the last thing you gonna do. It is a team tactic that make Riot shield formidable not martial art training.
      You presented a video from a clothing company UFPRO that cater to military as if it mean anything (There stuffs are good tho, I got a few).
      And the situations presented are in fantasy land too, look impressive to civilian. But for anyone that took CQB classes this is terrible. Your video should be show to students as "what not to do in CQB".
      Let me break it down for you:
      +Walk into an unknown room with your weapon stick out without pie the door is a fail.
      +Walk into a middle of a potential cross fire zone is a fail.
      +Approach a target without first commend them to lay on the ground is a fail.
      +Draw weapon when entangle with the enemy is a fail.
      Even ignore all of that, the fighting technique in the video are mostly clinch work, which is Muay Thai or any grapping style specialty. What does TKD have anything to do with this?
      Please! If you don't know things, just admit that you don't. This kind of crap is what got people killed. And group your comment together, it is hard to answer multiple comments all at one.
