Surrogacy in the United States (Updated for 2023)

Whenever we get a new inquiry through the website you know my first recommendation is to consider a surrogacy program in the US.
The US is the international gold standard for surrogacy you know it's also the most popular destination worldwide. That’s in large part because of the excellent clinics that are available, But I think even more so because of the enormous media hype that has been generated by some very visible celebrity surrogacy cases. Those very often take place in Southern California or in New England and they're broadcast internationally.
So it's not surprising that we get an enormous number of inquiries from international couples whose only experience with surrogacy is from watching the Kardashians on TV.
As I like to say every destination for surrogacy worldwide has its unique benefits and its challenges. And that's true of the United States as well. When you consider possible destinations for your journey, it's important to look at both the benefits and the challenges. Then you make a decision based on which of the benefits are really important to you and which of the challenges seem frivolous or unimportant.
