I am a student studying in Shillong. My brothers and I started collecting bamboo shoots from the jungle, wake up early in the morning at 2 or 3 am. Go to jungle and collect around 3 to 4 bags(50kg each bag) of bamboo shoots and u know how much we earn in one day 3.5k to 4k rupees a day. The job is quite low one but the pay is good. We go from door to door to sell the vegetables. No work is low until u get paid for it, from this earnings I buy shoes, t shirts, sandals etc you don't have to be completely dependent on your parents. In some stuffs you can earn by yourself and buy the things you needed. You can do part time jobs, etc. Next year I will do it again😄, Jai Hind! And God bless you all.

i wasted 11 years of my life in drugs... to my father's shame i even didn't completed my degree course... I am just a High school pass... I now work as an editor in a news channel... people may say no work is small or there is no shame in doing small jobs but that is not the truth... The truth is the feeling you get when you are not able to bear the financial expenses of your mother's treatment... when friends who used to borrow money from you dont even want to associate with you because they drive Mercedes and you dont even have a second hand car... when your gf's friend take her to exotic places but you cant... Life is not a happy one when you have to bow your head down and couldnot even afford to live while your friends spend lakhs in one night at parties....

I am post graduate in Public Administration but working as a teacher in a Mission School. I am so proud of myself seeing how much my students love me. I am happy that I could be a community helper. Dear brothers and sisters work is work. Don't think how big or small ur job is and how much u are earning, just be urself and see how much you are contributing to the society..
So true, I work as a delivery boy during my breaks and to be honest in a month I earned around 12thousand, and if I work hard I even earn 20k per month, though am a college student and holds a post in 3 different students union bodies I have no shame in doing this because I earn enough to buy my self a cool gageds and outfits without asking my parents to do so. I Even do charity and what I like most is giving 10 tithes . I don't care of what society will say, but very much concern of how to be selfstable
For people with money, there is no shame in doing menial work coz they have their richness to make up for it... whereas for poor people its a little different, they feel embaressed to be seen in that situation coz its done out of compulsion. Sorry if i bring out the negativity in this, but it is partlym true. No one can deny the aspiration of a rich, high prestiged and respected
