This better be the last of Sogaard in Ottawa. He's been in the system for several years and hasnt improved at all. Every time he's been passed the baton he's dropped it. Probs best for both parties to part ways
More sad than last week. I feel Ulmark is likely done for the season which means the sens could be done for this seasons. Sens likely lose all the remaining games of this road trip.
Happy Hanukah! I was literally yelling at the tv when the Sens d kept collapsing to the hash marks saying someone stop hi…him, goal. Ugh. Too much turkey or something. I’ve been battling the illness going around for about a month. It comes and goes. Some days you feel great and others not so much. Anyways enjoy your family and your health is number 1 before us.
Was Soggard great? No. Was he worse than expected? No, he made some good saves, but let in 2 that i bet he would like back, that's gotta expected from an AHL goalie against the top team in the league though. Game was pretty close considering the circumstances. If they play like this every night they win way more than they lose.
He's not ready for the NHL, needs another year or 2, but he's good in the AHL.. bigger goalies take longer.. Bishop was good in the AHL but bad in the NHL until he found his stride at 26/27 years old and looked at what happened with him.
I told people playing Ullmark like we were doing was gonna get him hurt. I was told I was an idiot and that we needed to start him because he makes “money” and because he should be able to play 82 straight back to back games or some other BS. Now he’s hurt and we’re fk’d so I don’t wanna hear it from people complaining about his durability. I hope the extra win or 2 was worth it while he’s injured for the next 5 games minimum. Sogaard was absolutely horrendous. If he’s our guy going forward this team is fk’d

When did Perron actually get hurt? I don’t remember him actually getting injured and it being a serious injury.

Very poor. Many of the same issues from times gone by. It’s going to be a long stretch with no Ullmark.
