Because the film's world premiere was held in New York in June 1947, it was decided NOT to mention anything about the story {"A CHRISTMAS movie...in SUMMERTIME????"}.
Going to see this at some point today we wzatch it every year on my brother's birthday my mom didn't want to go to the hospital to have my brother until she finished this movie 😊
Wow! At the beginning of the trailer, this guy hasn't seen this movie yet! Coincidently, I've never seen the 1994 remake. People, for those of you that have that version, go ahead and tell me if it's hilarious, romantic, delightful, charming, tender, exciting. Or if it's a romantic love story, a exciting thriller, or a hilarious comedy.
I’m a fan of it simply because it gives me another opportunity to see Gene Nelson (the young man in the projection room). He’s my favorite dancer from the 40s and 50s.
What a change in the world from 1947 to now. Apparently smoking was only allowed indoors back then, today it's the opposite. Also is 2:12 the first media depiction of a spoiler alert? And then 4:00 goes and gives away the ending!

still holds the record as the oddest trailer ever.
Damn liars

"Groovy" was a slang word in the '40s??
I thought it was coined by Ash Williams.
