Surah Ad-Duha is the 93rd chapter of the Quran, consisting of 11 verses. It is often translated as "The Morning Hours" or "The Forenoon". The surah is located in the 30th juz of the Quran. It was revealed in Makkah and addresses the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) directly, reassuring him during a period of emotional distress and solitude early in his prophethood.
The chapter begins with Allah comforting the Prophet Muhammad, assuring him that He has neither abandoned nor displeased him. It speaks about the blessings bestowed upon him and advises him to express gratitude to Allah. The surah also discusses the importance of helping the needy and being generous.
Surah Ad-Duha is notable for its message of hope, reassurance, and encouragement during times of difficulty and loneliness. It reminds believers to remain patient and trust in Allah's wisdom and mercy.
