The Lord says in 21st sloka that those observing Vedic rituals but caught in an endless chain of desires, come and go. And suddenly in 22 sloka the Lord says that those who worship me and meditate on me constantly, without any other thought - I will provide for all their needs. What does it mean Swamiji, does it imply that the vedic rituals are not important or rather not required . Please explain.
I experienced the deep sleep....as swami ji said i am the consciousness who experienced the deep sleep...but isn't this the function of brain...as the experience of deep sleep was stored in my memory in brain ? Saw my uncle in hospital getting treating for kidney disease...he was conscious and oriented...suddenly in few minutes his sensorium altered due to uremic encephalopathy....then after dialysis treatment ,few hours later he became normal but he didn't remember even a single thing about his mental condition what happened to him....he can recall his waking,dreaming and deep sleep experiences but can't recall this episode of altered mental sensorium.....how can be this explained in terms of the consciousness? Can anybody explain please?
