Dude - this is the video I’ve been looking for. I stopped playing after college about 10 years ago and have been focusing on a career and now that I have that stability in my life I want to get back into gaming. So I bought a high end PC and to play all the latest games at max setting but there is something about good ol’ fashioned WoW that is pulling me back in. I’m excited to join the community again! PC is coming in 5 days! Can’t wait! Thanks for the content. Subbed!
Amazing man !!! I Hope you have a fun time playing all those games at max settings and rediscovering this amazing game 🤩🤩!!! Let me know how it’s going once your computer arrives! Thank you so much for the sub!! :)
Yes make more videos 👍 ! Certainly the game has evolved but I’m never bored playing WOW, there’s always something to do. Looking forward to your next video 🙏
Wish they have went with different direction with lore, butchered Nazjatar and Black Empire...played wow mainly for lore (yep) so even with gameplay getting better - retcon after retcon killed my pleasure of it.
Never tried Wow before! Played it a few hours 2 months ago with a friend for the first time and it was nice, the only thing is that I can't enjoy playing games anymore because I literally have no time 😭!! Before I had time but not the PC, what a life lmao
One thing i dont like about classic is that you dont have dual spec at least. Respecing is so expensive and just something that needs to be done from one moment to another when gameplay changes. For example a world pvp fight before raid entrance.
Yes I’m super excited about it!! I heard about the classic servers coming back when I was basically done with the video which is a shame! I should’ve mentioned that in the vid :p,
Retail sacrificed too much to be an expedient dungeon-racing game. The game used to be more than that, but now that's all there is. The narrative is heavy-handed political garbage, the outdoor world content is mindless and repetitive, the social experience has been neglected for the entire history of the game, the economy is pointless, professions remain a waste of time, faction identity is dead, racial identity is dead, classes are homogenized for competitive balancing so they don't have much fantasy either, and the business practices have never been more exploitative. As long as people love dungeon grinding, WoW will never die. But I haven't touched the game since Dragonflight (which changed none of that) and will likely never play again.
I agree with most of your points except when you said blizzard had to cater to a casual Playstyle to save their playerbase. That's completely wrong and the numbers show, WoWs player base didn't decline because of lack of adaptation, it declined because OF their more casual focused approach.
Here's a take: retail is a sandbox, and theres a lot to do for a lot of different people Competitive? Pvp/M+ Solo players? Delve Hell you can even play this game just to collect awesome looking transmogs and or mounts. So i dont understand when people call retail bland or souless or whatever, the game as it is today is however you play it.

As they say, one does not quit WoW; just takes breaks

Retail is honestly a blast. All the specs are very unique and fun. I love doing battleground blitz, arena, and solo shuffle.
Much agreed, one thing I didn’t mention in the video is PVP, I’ve been having A LOT of fun with it!
Just like you said, the whole video was gold man

Depp thoughts with Coco I Like it. great video as always
Great video, it's getting me pumped for the grind imminent with Classic lol! Can't wait for the game to be immersive again!
Same here!!

Nice format bro, perfect while eating something
And for that you earned yourself a like, and a sub on your channel.
Retail WoW is absolute gold and the friend. Hello
You’re a legend 😂😂😂 thanks for the sub!!!

I think dual specs will be added to the classic servers coming on the 21st of November!!! 🤩
Oh yes, my favorite WoW streamer is back
Maybe you want to look into Classic - they are launching new and fresh servers soon for you to start and experience from day 1...

Good for you, have a nice day.
You know you can choose exiles reach of the original starting zone right

The old game is there, Classic is pretty close. Retail is better though. Way more to do, way more depth.
The game evolves, if you want all the nostalgia you mentioned, there are classic servers for that
