Hey you handsome rascal. It’s always good to see you. Mrs.Cob and I wanted to say hello and we hope you and the lovely Carolyn had a Great Valentine’s Day. . Please give Carolyn our love. Blessings from Gettysburg... keep em burning..
I made a similar video about a year or two ago. I agree I do like to set aside a pipe for just that tip of smoke. Great video brother. Love that pipe. I had to take some time away. And now I'm catching up. Glad to see you! If you haven't seen my video on this. Please watch it. Take care brother. Keepem smokin
Very good video. Being native american myself I can tell you have really done your homework on the proper use and story of the sacred pipe. While each tribe has their own wording for the same ideas the basic principles are the same. Being Cherokee we use the seventh direction in our ceremonial use of the pipe. That is the center. Yourself. After you send smoke in the other directions, above, below, N S E W, you smoke once more then waft it around yourself to open your mind and spirit to what comes from those directions. And you are correct in the storage of pipe and that it is never put on display. You will never see mine among my others or even in my cabinet with the others. And a pipe such as you have can be your personal sacred pipe whether it has been blessed/dedicated to be a ceremonial pipe. If you have any questions for me I am always available. My email is in the 'about' section of my channel.
Yes, like they say - ‘you cannot take it with you’ and the old filthy lucre will not keep the Grim Reaper away forever. The contemplative and calming way of the pipe is very much a shamanistic practice that has been recognised by many peoples over time. There is no requirement to be from any particular culture either to realise that the pipe is a fine way to help us achieve higher levels of understanding of self and the universe that we are all a part of. Nice to see others thinking (feeling) outside the box too.
Thanks for dropping by. I regularly smoke the pipe as part of my spiritual discipline. But smoking a sacred pipe is only done as a part of a ritual and never as a public event.
never boring always enjoy your videos

Thank you so much for you encouraging and helpful comments. I may indeed get in touch in a few days when my Parkinson's has settled down again.
