@@fanrite100it’s not weird since Dawson stopped being Brett’s friend when she left without saying goodbye. Also, Monica was rooting for them. She wanted Casey to move on. It was also Jesse’s idea for Brettsey to happen. He asked the writers to make Brett and Casey a couple.
