Jennifer's D ending was the first ending I ever received, so I seriously thought that she tripped and busted her head open, and Edward was reacting with shock and confusion. Yeah, thank god for GameFAQs, I'd have been fucking around with this game for months.
Back then, i was so scared to play it alone and always brought with my brother to accompany me hehehe... and i played as fast as i could and didn't care what was the ending ranked.
First ending as Helen I remember getting, I was like 6 or 7 when I played this so when I first saw professor I was happy cause I just escaped Scissorman...then he bashes me in the head with a rock 😂😂
I haven't played this game in probably close to 20yrs... and somehow I still remembered "N-ha ee sh*" when Helen said "Open the door and show me the way."
Someone came up with an interesting theory for Helen's B Ending. The real Scissorman WAS yanked in with Helen into the Death Vortex... but Harris survived. It's HIS body being possessed by Edward's spirit that emerges from the earth in front of the shears.
Idk bout that. Harris severed head can later be found in a pot inside in the castle's kitchen after speaking to him once and being provided the fireplace. Btw, getting a bad ending due to using the fireplace key further emphasizes that Harris was still working with Scissorman in Helen's scenario though
@lorenzo Alessandrini That thing that emerge is Dan, his real body being nursed but the blob baby which is the accumulation of dead bodies and organs pieced together to protect the real body as its nurse back to full health if im not mistaken.
Weird that Helen’s D ending is “worse” than the B and C endings, the real scissorman may never have been revealed and destroyed, but at least Helen lives... I also wonder why the D endings had no FMVs? Did they run out of space on the disc so they had go without them?
Yo, I was thinking the same thing, also found it fascinating how Jennifer could die in Helen’s scenario, Gotts could die in Jennifer’s scenario and yet Helen couldn’t die in Jennifer’s scenario and Nolan can never die in Helen’s scenario
16:29 Wait. The subtitles says "Eeeeeeeeeeeeee", but the audio says "Aaaaaaaaaaaa". I guess if the audio aays "Eeeeeeeeeee", then she would sound like Nicocado Avocado going "Eeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!"😂
I think this game deserves a remake. But questions: 1. Why was edward (Dan) the killer? 2. Why did she open the door knowing what it would do? Like pulling everyone in?
How did they even all end up trapped somewhere in the castle? There are 3 antagonists: Barton/Harris, Dan & Kay. I can see them kidnapping Jennifer, but how did they then knocked down Gotts, Tim, Nolan, Helen and Harris/Barton?
In America, this was the first clocktower game, thus it was called “clock tower” no sequel number or anything, since the devs didn’t want it to feel like “oh, I didn’t buy the first game, probably won’t enjoy thing one.” However this caused confusion for years to come. Since this is the English version, technically it is just “clock tower” If that made sense...
it's clock tower 2 in japanese, but it was the first clock tower to be released in america and europe. clock tower the first fear was never officially translated
Now we need Japanese Clock Tower endings. They're also in English, voiced by same actors but sounds different, they were basically recorded twice. Sometimes Japanese version is better.
i just checked and youre right. for some reason the dialogue in the japanese version is slightly different even thought its all recorded in english. very weird
Something makes no sense in this game. How come Barton is the fake scissorman?? So who appeared in the whole game? The real scissorman? The fake one? What was his intention? Like... did he have a brain wash and he became bff with that psycho boy? I'm just trying to understand because I felt that the writers/developers dropped a plot twist but didn't develop very well and it just raised so many questions that it is on the edge of a plot hole.
It was assumed that Prof. Barton was posssesed due to the keeping of Scissoman's weapon back in the theraphy room. You can see at the prologue playing as Barton when interacting with the Scissor, it shows somekind of 'Red vision', assuming Barton already got possessed/obsessed with the Scissorman. It also noted that Edward (the real Scissorman) visitation further accelerates Barton's insanity. However. In Jennifer's scenario, Barton was more innoncous, while Harris plays the central role as the 'fake Scissorman'.
@@64552 It could be either way. In Jennifer's scenario, one of the bad ending shows that Edward's guardian Ms. Kay kills Jennifer, out of possession, misleading information or conspiracy altogether.
