All tractors are articulated except Belarus. The case is the best. The JD is not economical. They have designed the Case design.
the case ih qaudtrac is an amazing tractor but quite hard to steer trust me it doesn't youse weels to steer the whole frame shifts opposite directions!

We run a jd 7930 and a 4960 as our two big horses and a variety of 130 to 180 horse John DEERES and farm 1200 acres I never can understand how anyone can afford this kinda iron??

Depends where you're at and what you do. Pulling an 18 foot incorpromaster over 3,000 acres in California requires big horsepower.

There you go with your 1200 acres. Once you get to understand that that is peanuts compared to other farms, that are typically owned by companies, rather than family run, you may see how it is done. Aside from that, gear is often leased by contractor and the like.
No chance me owning one then ,with a 100 acre.

Dale Bierman.... Kent Chan actually has a point. Have you or do you farm? I grew up on a 4,300 acres farm in the Midwest. We had many different tractors. Jd, ford, case, case ih, Massey, allis Chalmers. All of them EXCEPT john deere where shit. I don't know about you but I like my brakes, hydrolics, transmission, loader, a/c, heater and engine to work as well as a quiet comfortable cab to spend 12 hours in.
Technology on the track system is the top of the range. It does have the biggest and most quiet cab in the industry... Dont know what happened in youre field to make you feel like this? But im sure I will be able to prove you wrong on any problems. Steiger has out performed and proven itself for many years...
idk bout the new cih steigers but the ones from the mid 90s and down were good. Even the versatiles were good. Deere only had one good series of 4wd and they were the late 8000 series like the 8870, 8960 and so one. They still had their flaws and age doesnt fare well with jd electrical system. Theres 3 big family farms near me that have all the brands. The family with deeres get new tractors every 5 or 6 years. Theres another that still uses an 875 versi and a 950 ford versi. The ford over heated so they bought some later model stx. The third family chewed their 8760 deere up axles are junk which is also a flaw of deeres. The other tractor they have is a 9280 thats been to hell and back. They are the worst on their equipment to the point they should be testing for manufacturers. They also still use a panther 4 with a komatsu in it.

I worked as a tech for deere and id go red or yellow. Versi is nice since theyre still stuck in the 90s with cable operating scv's and quad range transmission. Low tech is the betst tech for durability. Oh cant forget deere has the worst axle design. Also tge gudgeon design is ridiculous.
