Bobbi, I appreciate that this video is in focus and there are no blurring/softening filters used. It drives me nuts when some of my favorite makeup people are blurred so much that you really can't even see their makeup. Your good content is appreciated as always as well.

    • @MindfulMidlife

That's because I have no clue how to add blurring or softening filters - haha! In all seriousness...I agree! You can't do a makeup review if someone can't even see the makeup. Thanks Vicki!

This is very on-point, Bobbie! I found it to be very helpful. I totally agree with you on the Rephr eye lash curler!! It really delivers and is so much more comfortable to use than other curlers. I am having trouble keeping my eyelashes curled. Wayne Goss says you need a waterproof mascara, too. I watched yr video on mascaras and am going to give a couple of them a try. I really enjoy yr content and videos so much! I look forward to each and every one. ❤

I also use SPF on my hands and on my arm when I'm driving. May sound crazy until I saw a friend who's left arm was very crepey (not creepy..lol!) compared to her right. Thankfully she mentioned it b/c I couldn't bring myself to say anything. Realized I wanted "matching" arms & hands so I use either a lotion when getting ready or the mineral powder SPF I keep in the car that is an all in one with its own brush which is really convenient and easy. Plus I can reapply or use it if I forgot to apply that AM.

I love Elta MD UV Elements SPF 44 tinted. And during the summer, the only thing I use is MyChelle Sunshield Liquid SPF 50 - no foundation - it’s the no makeup makeup product of choice. I remember when I got my first 10X mirror.. I commented to a friend that I never knew I was a wookie! The things you see in that. I have found this can also be a slippery slope for me. I see things in that mirror no one else will probably ever see. how close should we look and try to address things? I haven't figured that one out yet Eye brows.. I still have trouble with those. I've watched the videos on how to get thin brush strokes, purchased the items.. but still manage to make blobs. sigh

SPF is an adjective not a noun. It gives the sun protection factor as a value of time of the labeled product relative to time of exposure. The correct name of the product is sunblock or sunscreen. The SPF value can range from 25 to 60.

Going to check out the products you mentioned, and I can’t be without my rephr eyelash curler. My lashes are stick straight too. I recently started using The Ordinary Eyelash & Brow Serum, and I think it’s helping my lashes a bit, but I think my brows may a hopeless cause, or, the truth, no brows at all. Yes, I really over plucked years ago, and then what was left just disappeared. 🤷‍♀️🤣

Hey Bobbi, I'm wondering have you tried any of the Half Baked cream products? I just saw this brand on Amazon and have checked out some reviews. The formulas look so pretty, creamy and blendable and very affordable. I also think the contour shades actually look like contour colors and not bronzers. I'm just so curious about this brand because the packaging seems very 70's preteen but the products seem like they'd be great for us wiser over 50 ladies.

Enjoyed that very much. I have a question and a comment. I love Sarah V. Does that sunscreen give you an oily green green green face? So many sunscreens make you very greasy. And does it do well with all of your foundations? The comment I have is that the new elf luminous putty blushes are fabulous with a price of about seven dollars they have great colors a slight bit of a glow but no chunky glitter. I like those better than my Milani cream blush.

Unless you have dark auburn hair, Dont buy the Elf Brunette eyebrow pencil ✏️ because it has red tones.

SPF should be reapplied every 3-4 hours to be effective. More often if you're sweating.

You don’t put SPF on. You put on sunscreen. SPF is the amount of protection in your sunscreen.

I cannot buy from beauty pie because I will not buy a membership to buy their products. I wish you wouldnt show so many of their products, not a fan of beauty pie

You know you can shop with a 1 month ‘pass’ rather than a subscription. I used to feel the same way when hearing talk of Beauty Pie. Also for a long time I didn’t realise it was available in my country. Just food for thought. But, 🤷🏼‍♀️ it is her channel to share what she likes, just like you can have your say and find another channel that suits you better ✌🏼
