Sewage Treatment Plant Animation

Sewage treatment is the process of removing contaminants from municipal wastewater, containing mainly household sewage plus some industrial wastewater. Physical, chemical, and biological processes are used to remove contaminants and produce treated wastewater (or treated effluent) that is safe enough for release into the environment. A by-product of sewage treatment is a semi-solid waste or slurry, called sewage sludge. The sludge has to undergo further treatment before being suitable for disposal or application to land.

Sewer water gets into an equalization tank the through the screening bar where solids present in the sewer get filtered.
The equalization tank is the first collection tank in the Sewer treatment plant also known as the primary treatment plant
It acts as a buffer to collect the incoming raw sewage that’s of widely fluctuating rates it neutralizes the flow to average flow rates and then passes it to the rest of the treatment plants
Then through the sewerage lifting pump sewage is passed to the aeration tank
The aeration tank is an important step in the process of sewer treatment. Microorganism In the aeration sewer tank break down into organic compounds and nutrients
The removal of nutrients is critical, wastewater that is overly rich in nutrients can cause ecosystem imbalance if released into the environment.
After the aeration process sewer is transferred to the tube settler tank.
Here no air and sludge tends to remain at the bottom
Here it will undergo PAC (poly aluminum chloride) dosing
Then the water will be stored in the intermediate storage tank where chlorine dosing will be done to remove the bacteria from the water
After chlorine dosing through the feed pump, it is pumped to the pressure sand filter and carbon filter
Then the filtered treated water will be stored in the treated water tank.
Sludge collected will be pumped into a sludge collection tank

Excuse me but if the saliva, vomit, snot, flem and cooking oil was flushed in the receptacle or the toilet bowl. Would these undergo the same thing?
