Loved the way Lee’s first remarks were words of thanks and understanding to the audience who’d made the effort. Instant rapport! He has a voice that demands attention. (Think Socrates rather than Machiavelli!) Good sense, courage, high standards and a killing sense of humour. Reform has enough stars for a dazzling cabinet already!

I agree. I get the sense that Farage is not committing to saying he'll be the next PM, because I think his long term plan is actually to let someone else stand. I think it'd be a good idea personally. Lee Anderson is powerful, he's relatable to a lot of British people, both left and right.
