I continue to try to figure out how many people it takes to truly evaluate 300-500 key players across the country and get it right. As a former manager I know how hard it is to truly evaluate just dozens of employees let along hundreds. Even having evaluators assigned by regions somehow the evaluations have to be compiled to get a list like ESPN 300. Bottom line I always look at player rankings with a grain of salt.
Michael Hawkins looks to be sticking. Will be interesting to watch what they do with him, given that they accidentally burned his redshirt this year, but then benched him the moment he began to struggle, so his development hasn't been great this year but he's still lost eligibility. He could redshirt next year but that would be a risky game because you got the 3 cupcakes at the start of the season, if there are any injuries or blowouts he could end up burning it again and suddenly being a junior despite having never started a meaningful stretch of games at OU. He'll certainly be told "open competition blah blah up for grabs blah blah" but even if OU doesn't get Mateer, they're going to get someone they think is a P4 starting QB. If they're paying this guy 1-2m for his services, the competition ain't going to be all that open. And Hawkins, if he went on the market, could probably get starting P4 money somewhere, he's not likely to get that from OU.
Just awful. 3 hours of it? Did anyone make it the full 3 hours? Nothing better than BD and PT, analyzing players;0) Every player they have ever given an evaluation of could eventually be a great NFL player or college all American. Even walking get the love and how they will absolutely make an impact at some point. This goes for current players down to recruits. Rivals missed some rankings really bad, Fodjie, On3 missed guys really bad. If you took the lowest ranked guys from rivals and on3 and swapped them out for the other services ranking we would have a top 5 class. So strange how certain evaluations can be so so far off from each other. Fodjie would be the most egregious of them all. Not even a 250 kid with rivals? Did they not watch his film? He’s borderline 5* with On3. On3 has those egregious misses too so it’s not just one service.
Well done Brandon and Parker. Great show and love how you guys introduced us to this class, love the interviews. Love your podcasts.
Really like the quality of this class, even without much quantity.
Thanks for this fun stream fellas. Parker and BDrumm are the goats

Anyone know what john garcia said?
The last guy kinda looks like JA
Drumm... stop trying so hard. The way you elongated and held "Sperry" was brutal
Alex Shieldnight shouldn't be a take for OU. That's a bad eval.
Don't sleep on Trystan Haynes
Not time stamping this should be criminal…
Brandon irks me for some reason😂
This is basically 2 people wanting to be friends with the players. Sucks
It’s literally their job to talk about these guys and get insider info…
What kind of "hard hitting" questions are you looking for from guys who haven't taken a snap for the team yet??
