My son shaved mune when it came out in clumps after my first chemo. Sooner than the Dr said. I cried too and he shave his 14 year old head to match mine which was a beautiful gift.
I think what gets me is the way as he was shaving his head that she grasps at his arm for dear life as if she is falling which she prolly is in multiple ways and it’s is such a beautiful but horrible soul crushing thing to see because you can tell she is probably falling apart inside and feels like she is grasping for the most basic things let alone love and support
I did this for a cancer patient! She was a little girl names Sarah and the community got together to do a fundraiser for her. The men all shaved there heads but I guess I was the only girl to come in and shave my long hair off without even a second thought lol it’s just hair and guess what?? It grew back and so did little Sarah’s since they raised the money they needed and she beat cancer about 2 years back 😊
I shaved my hair off to raise money for children with cancer. I've also lost my wonderful dad and mother in law to cancer. I shaved it again when my husband had cancer. By the grace of god he is still with us today. I loved being bald because it meant no hair up keep. I played with bandanners, head dresses and wigs. I also had beautiful henna tattoos at one stage. I end up donating my head ware and wigs customers with cancer or female baldness at the local hairdresser. I enjoyed being bald because I had the choice. We must never forget the choice wasn't theirs to make.❤
It's not just about the baldness, it is the life threatening chemotherapy that really kicks in when you lose your hair. It's not natural or a decision, it is the last straw they have. Nonetheless, amazing moment of support from this guy.
