- This video is about my FAVORITE Motorcycle Accessory. RokStraps. Simply the BEST item for securing items on your Motorcycle. Secure & Strong for keeping items in place on Motorcycle. Inexpensive. Available all on Amazon.com. www.amazon.com/...
Thanks for taking the time to go thru the various ways to secure to bike. I will definitely buy 4 of these.
Got them about a month ago and they will come in handy next month when I head up to Americade bike rally. Thanks
+Rider NYC awwesome....just used mine this past weekend to tie down my back pack in the passenger seat! Worked like a champ!
GOOD one MM ...... They ARE better that most other types of strap fasteners !!
+Rick S. i agree....no hooks to scratch bike and secure very well!
YESSSSSSSSSSS !!! That is important
Nice Straps thanks for sharing that with us. I will be getting some for my Goldwing.
Can pickup pretty cheap on Amazon. I think I have pairs! Thank you for watching!
have not seen these before, pretty cool
they work...favorite of mine!
I like them.... Nice video
+taskforceripper91 Thanks Glenn!
Cheers Mike just ordered 2 sets
Awesome. Can never have too many!!!
Nice vid . Thank you !
Best things ever invented 😁
A small animal or bird could get tangled up in the cargo net you threw away.
Thanks for sharing. Looks interesting, but what do you do with all the extra strap material? Cant just leave it to fly around in the wind.
That's a good question, and maybe I should have covered that in the vid! With most items I do not have a ton of "slack" in the straps. However..with the excess I usually will just wrap it back around the strap itself a couple of times to keep it from "flying" in the wind while running down the road! If you had the larger straps that go to 60" you would have a lot of extra strap dangling!! Thanks for the comment and question!
very inexpensive. will be adding these to my bike for sure. thanks for the share.
+Chad Mock oh yeah....cheap...compared to chrome!!!
thanks Mike, I hate cargo straps also. I think I'll pay a visit to Cycle gear this weekend
+timmytwowheels thanks for watching ...pick up a pair on Amazon.com pretty cheap!!
You can't go wrong with Rok Straps, I like them so much, that I bought a second set.
+Chris Caliente used them last night when i go off phone with ya...2 pizzas to go!!
Thanks for this clip!
Nicely done, will be getting some within the month. I've had the bungee type for years, it sucks compared to rokstraps.....no adjustment, I've hauled a lot of camera gear on bikes and used crappy straps and the bungee and it's just all practically held together with hope and a prayer. THIS IS FUNCTIONAL!!!! I want them. Just pulled the bike out of hibernation and took a quick ride today......I love riding my goooooollllldddd wing a you say. Peace Bro!!!
+eagledancer the Rok Straps well lemme say.......ROOOOOOOOOOOOKKKKKK!
Nice review. Will have to pick up a pack of those.
+Qbal strap down a whole hog for smoking on the Goldwing! LoL
Brilliant use of the straps with the helmet; the ol bike lock cable is fine once parked but would be treacherous down the interstate lol. Thanks
I lost a motorcycle jacket to a cargo net. Never again.
I hate cargo nets
Hello there Mike, I forgot to ask you about where I can purchase the Roc Straps for my bike. I need at least 4 packs of them for my upcoming 1,000 round trip journey to Upstate New York, and back in mid June. I'm going home to visit my family, and attend my annual Family Reunion as well.

Thank you Sir, how expensive are they ?
+garthks if you click on the link will show you price. Bout $13 a pair. Do a search on Amazon. Can probably find even cheaper, especially if you do not get black. That seems to be most popular!
Ok, thanks, will do, I'm thinking I'm going to need about 4 sets of them. Maybe some day, I'll get a Gold Wing, and have much more storage than I have on the Helix.
Good product MM... Being I don't have a luggage rack on my vstar1300 only a pillion seat, I'm stuck using the cargo net. Dang!!! LOL Safe riding.
I wouldn't give up. Long as you have attachment points they will work. But if cargo net works, then it works!! Thanks for the comments!!
Mike, Have you installed aftermarket grips? I bought a pair of the Kuryakyn grips and just returned them. I fought a long time trying to install them and finally gave up. Grip Puppies seem to be a popular solution but I'd like to find something a little nicer looking.
Yes those are Kuryakyns over the heated grip. And they were a pain in the you know what to install! However. The trade off is I lose some of my Heat in the grips b
nice find
Good demo Mike. Bike tips are always handy, you learn something every day. Just booked my camping trip to France and Spain for this year. I suppose I'll have to tell my wife now. Best wishes to you and yours from the UK.
+Motorbiker Miles (motorbikermiles) What a trip that sounds like you have planned!!! I am Jealous!
I am with you on the cargo net....you can put them where the Sun don't shine....lol.. Gonna go to RevZilla and order me some...Thanks Mike...Ride safe...
+Paul Dersch I hate Cargo Nets!.. These are functional!!!
Awesome info buddy, I am going to order me a several sets, my daughter could use some for her new bike too..Awesome infomercial...
+Lorddarthvader1701 appreciate that my man! enjoy sharing things that "work" and help riding a little easier!!!
+MemphisMike hi
Mike, Thanks for the good info. I'll be getting a set. As I await NY riding season with my new wing I've been checking several Goldwing vlogs. Really makes me appreciate the effort you (and CC) put into producing quality vlogs. You guys are the best!
Man appreciate that Kyle. Be glad to help anyway we can!
Are you using the 5/8s straps or the 1 inch? I accidentally ordered the narrower ones, but do you think those are okay for motorcycles too?
Those are the 5/8" straps in the video. I would prefer 1 inch but I did not find them in the shorter 18-42" length. Trust me....they will work!!
I think I will try these and see if I like em. Thanks.
Lemme know. I dig them! Cheapest I've found is on Amazon!
I got em on my list for my next order off Amazon.
Okay now I have to buy a set. Thanks for sharing. Ride Safe
+HarleyDayRider HaHa...cheapest accessory you may find!!!
