I check on the UTM website. It shows as following: Boots into EFI shell instead of Windows installer First, make sure that you pressed any key during boot to enter the installer. Also, make sure you generated the right ISO for your architecture. Note that arm64 is for Apple Silicon and amd64 is for Intel.

I did every step as you said, but when I go to windows to download the VHDX file I don't have the same options as you, so I tried downloading the option Windows 11 Client Arm64 Insider Preview (Dev)-Build 23440. When I run the file in the utm the Windows set up screen never appears, instead of that the terminal instantly shows and the command oobe... doesn't work Please help me😞 I don't know what else to do I'm loosing my mind here🙃
Ah found my mistake! Instead of the 10gb file I instead selected the client file! So the machine did not see a proper installation file. Maybe you did the same?

I am trying to stop using Parallels and your explanation worked perfectly excepted I ended up with a shell script screen in the virtual machine not a windows configuration screen. My MAC was an AMD Radeon Pro 5300 4 GB and I used default settings with the Windows11_InsiderPreview_Client_ARM64_en-us_23590.VHDX. So any suggestions would be appreciated.

I got your question and the answer is yes. I recently used this Windows VM to jailbreak my old iPhone 4S and I had to use windows software 3U Tools. Everything went fine. No issues. So it's good enough for casual usage. In case you will use some more power-demanding software - you can use Parallels. There are plenty of options on Mac ;)

HELP When I download the vhdx file it downloads as a document which is why I think the vm is not working for me :( this may be because I had to download a newer version of the dev windows thing ?
For all those having issue, you likely installed the wrong VHDX file, use the specified link he provides after you register and it should work.

NO INTERNET ISSUES RESOLVED: go to settings of your Windows 11 VM (settings icon). Find the Network Section -> Network Mode -> Select Shared Network. Emulated Network Card ->vitrio-net-pci. Click on Save and restart your VM :)

I got your question and the answer is yes. I recently used this Windows VM to jailbreak my old iPhone 4S and I had to use windows software 3U Tools. Everything went fine. No issues. So it's good enough for casual usage. In case you will use some more power-demanding software - you can use Parallels. There are plenty of options on Mac ;)
