First half is done. Croatia never had a song so hyped up; everybody loves this down-to-Earth guy. However, there is a lot of politics in voting for the best Eurosong. I think, this time juries will not be able to ignore what people love; entire arena was dancing and singing. Croatia has over a million ex-pats all over Europe. I believe they are going to be the deciding factor to tip the scales in Marko’s favour. Baby Lasagna entered Dora qualifying competition as a reserve; because someone else dropped out. Real Cinderella story. The song is about young people leaving their home (and immigrating to other countries; 400,000 in 10 years) in search of a better life, and anxiety it creates. Yet, the song is lighthearted; the energy unbelievable. It was written, and produced solely by Marko Purišić (Baby Lasagna) in his room in Umag, small town, Croatia. He writes songs (over 200) & books too. First time performing as a singer on a big stage, Marko did great; people of Croatia reacted and gave him the greatest margin of victory ever. Now; the entire nation is behind him. (See; ’Hrvatska plese Rim Tim Tagi Dim’ -UA-cam). With big stage and some improvements, it’s a definite leader. Eurovision song, here we come, Rim Tim Tagi Win!
I believe the story told in this song will resonate with people in Eastern Europe a lot. Just think how many people immigrated from Poland, Ukraine or Baltics recently. It is a very unique entry and so well done!
If you didn't know, from this year the voting starts at the beginning of the first song and not after the last song, so the order of performance has no advantages, even those who perform earlier may have an advantage.
To be at the end is always better than the first 6 acts. There are a lot of people who start watching not from the beginning. So when you are 23rd - you will be seen by way more people than if you are 2nd. So I guess 23 is a good place in the running order.
@@turnovision9638 I am watching an opera with my partner who HATES Eurovision but will watch the second half after the end of the opera. So I am more likely to see Croatia's entry LOL
Looking back at the Dora final, he had multiple problems vocally and running out of breath. Since then he's been doing pre-parties and vocal training, working on his confidence on stage as well. And its been paying off for reals! He's got such good control now and he was also suggested to not move around as much as well to save his stamina. But he's still pretty active, but he said himself that he can't help it XD We gotta remember that his Dora performances were his first ever lead singing live performance on TV!
He is definitely the most improved vocally this year! We were very impressed seeing all these positive changes in his performance. Now his performance is real shot for a win!
Vote Croatia to keep Eurovision from dying. This performance is amazing, I just love how he fed off the crowd and how it fed off him and he has improved so much. His story is insane as is the song and he is just such a top bloke, so nice and down-to-earth. My mum literally said when this was performed that this song is “why she loves Eurovision” and I 100% agree. He needs to win and I would be over the moon if he did. Honestly, anyone but Israel winning for me is a win. I have always trusted him and I think he will do it. That will push me over the edge.
If Croatia wins , I think people will be happy. It will be a fair and well deserved victory. We really need a fair winner this year or otherwise more and more fans will be discouraged from watching Eurovision in the future. We decided to not vote this year for several reasons, but instead donate money to one of the charity foundations. We also decided that if particular countries win because of activism this year, we will make our channel less about Eurovison and will start focusing on more broad topics.
@@turnovision9638 great response and fair reasons for the future of your channel. This year has just been a shitshow tbh. I am almost done with it, I will be glad when this is over tbh.
I find it very enjoyable to watch other peoples' reactions to Rim Tim Tagi Dim 😄 the best performance I have ever seen on eurovision & even though the juries fucked it up again, he still got a HUUUGE amount of exposure, which will definitely help him in his musical career going forth ^^ *Meow meow* 🐾
This is a reaction video - you came here to find out what other people think about the performance - and you got it. You want to hear the song, go watch the official BL video.
The Eurovision Song Contest has turned into a political stunt and a cultural mockery. Good and beautiful songsthat young children also love to sing, when parents record them it is cute. Because of politics it will be difficult for Croatia to win, the jury is corrupt and I see the Irish witch as their favorite. Because of such horror performances, Eurovision must prohibit watching the competition to children under 12 years old and protect their psychological state. Otherwise, children will grow up with severe trauma. I have nothing against creativity, but Ireland, and in previous years Sweden with their disgusting costumes are not for Eurovision... tasteless and for adults.
Yes, Israel and Ireland will get a bunch of activism vote from both jury and public. Even people who do not regularly watch Eurovision will be mobilized to vote for them. And as a mother I do agree with your point about children, there are more than one performance this year that I would not recommend to children under 12.
Meow, everyone, please, meow back and tell us what do you think about this performance!
Croatia should of definitely won the eurovision, there song was the best full of energy and very good beat
