the realy good thing with this AIR studio, is the Scoring Stage, it's a marvelous place to play classical music, like the Todd AO stage studio, but for regular Pop Rock it's not necessary, to have stuff like that.
One of those kind of people who have this stereotypical consumerism ideal...It's not about quantity, it's about quality...You know, owning a Ferrari does not mean you are automatically the best driver there is.I am amazed too by AIR studios but understanding and knowing sound is far more important. You can get million dollar sound with decent equipment and knowing how to squeeze the best out of what you got.And recording/mixing soundtracks is top notch and IMO the last step to become a master.
..::This is so so amazing so how those people can't produce hits with studios like that,if i was in a studio like that i swear i would be around the Billboard::..
what is the purpose for so much audio equipment. Can anyone answer that? it all seems redundant, ive been to simple set up studios and still don't understand why all of that big stuff is necessary...
Well it's a rentable studio, so you need something that will attract clients, because they don't wanna invest in this gear and since clients want everything, you gotta have everything
+Jensen Alexander because all that gear has its own colour and use.. and if you run a commercial studio you need to make sure that they will have what they might need.. if it was a smaller 'botique' studio then you know what to expect when you go.. but if you run a place like this you need to be able to do anything..

enver browne Actually, the AIR studios in Montserrat were built in the mid 1970s. The original AIR Studios were founded on Oxford Street in 1970. In 1991 the Oxford Street AIR studios moved to Lyndhurst Hall, so in fact they actually are "the real" AIR studios, they simply changed location.
Unpleasant demeanor for some reason. I can't explain why, perhaps in his speaking manner. Sounded like he wasn't happy at all to do the tour. But nice studio though.
Dude he's a fucking sound engineer not an American chat show host. You've been watching TV personalities who couldn't do his job too long. He also has to deal with arrogant fucking pricks day after day so he has to have a skin as thick as plate armour. His "demeanour" is "Here's the studio. You can do what you like in here but whatever you do, you DO NOT fuck about". He talked a lot about the stars and mature producers he's had in, you'd probably understand his demeanour better if he'd talked a lot more about every "don't you know who I am?", 24 year old drunk Kurt-Cobain wannabee who brings in his pissed band mates to drink and snort coke for four hours off quarter-million quid studio equipment with record company money. When you're dealing with pricks all the time you just stay in character 24-7. He has exactly the right demeanour for the job he's in.
Very interesting tidbit about the dimensions he graciously added.
he's very exited.,,,,
Wow that recording hall with organ and shit.... this is Beauty.
Great tour mates!
holy shit its like the deck of the enterprise in there!
Magnifique !!!
What an amazing setup!
The monitor setup in Lyndhurst Hall is so sexy for some reason.

They can if they want to. But there's no money in music that's why they do films...
It’s my dream to record a film score here someday...
