There are a few scratches witch you can see in the close up photos. Overall this is a true collectors item and would make a fantastic addition to any collection.

Ha! I have this also, bought new at Montgomery Ward in the 80's. Tv still works but no analog channels, will have to see if vcr can hook up. Thanks for the vid!
I had this same model bran new in the day, was great.
omg , I HAD THE same one way back one . man this clip brought some memories. Good times. now I feel old.
hi my name is Mary and i have one just like it. mom gave it to me in 1983. Still plays great!!!
I loved this radio. It was stolen from our house in 1986 after a break in one night along with our living room console TV. I would love to have this
I have the same one with the exception of the television. In the place of the television is a 2nd cassette player that can't record tapes. I found it in a barn bungie-straped to the ceiling. The speakers were dead so I used to headphone out and connected it to a vintage NuTone amplifier that is connected to intercom speakers throughout my bedroom.
Hello Sir. Are you still here? I need to contact you.

my best friend had this boombox. .. bought it brand new. .at the time. .then he sold I wish he would have told me I would have bought from him. . and I would have still have till this day. ..am know to hang on to things I really like. .
You actually see this radio in the movie Gremlins on the shelf at the Montgomery Wards at the end where they kill Stripe.
My dad bought this exact same one at MW in 1983. No it didn't record audio from the TV, believe me I tried. I used to hook up our cable to it and try to get audio from movies. No go. Never understood why you couldn't record from the TV. This put out some nice sound. OMG I remember those plastic tubes for the batteries!
I my best friend had one like this
we would record of lot mix, rap music on the station KJLX AM it recorded really good
AND ALSO WATCH GILLIAN'S ISLAND. .
From the second deck benefits would be greater than from TV.
Have one exactly like it, only mine is broken.
Looks like a Silver, had a Silver with same kind of knobs.
I had this exact same boombox. The tape deck stopped working.
wow. i actually still have this. ...and yes my tape deck quit, got it fixed but it quit again.
Which antenna source would I attach my antenna converter to for watching current television on the boombox
You would need to attach a digital to analog converter to your coaxial cable input to use the television. Unfortunately, use of the TV for over-the-air broadcast reception is no longer possible because analog is no longer used.
I have on identical yo this.... 1982.... boom box..... any offers on mine..... thx guys
Could the cassette deck record audio from the TV?
I had one of those😎
