I agree with your point about hair because when I had blue hair I felt like I had to wear blues and greens and I feel less of that pressure now that my hair is more neutral
That's funny, I've had the opposite feeling! When I had blue hair every time I wanted to go back to my classic monochromish blue outfits I hated how it looked SO blue 😅 It does really affect what you think of your outfits lol
Loved this video! I have the feeling that videos get longer every week and such a short one is very refreshing! I loved how you looked back and gave a small tip for us and not something that will take so much of our time/ money to spend in order to get a new aesthetic or whatever! I would like to see more of this kind of videos! :)
I found a version of that wilson leather jacket on ebay and I love it but it came with these epaulette shoulder straps that I don't particularly like! May look into getting a tailor to remove them...
@@percish oh really??? it looks so clean, you did a good job!! I may try to seam rip the loops off, then go x-acto blade mode on where they connect on the neck. Thanks for the idea!
so impressed the way you pull off the overcoat it seems so casual! i am yet to get there but im certainly not about to give up now when i see how well it can be done
@@gwenhogan8635 I love an overcoat! And when you’re not even wearing something cute you can just close up the coat and wear and big scarf and it’s still a look
yeah recently i got a soft mullet with bangs and felt kind of goofy so i started dressing more preppy (collared shirts, blazers) to balance it out but soon enough i've gotten used to it and now i'm getting back to my usual boyish twee style. also i felt kind of weird not wearing super closed off collared tops and my best theory as to why is... when you get cute bangs they kind of look like you're wearing a helmet, like, a piece of head-wear. and when your skin is "showing excessively" (bare neck lol) it's kind of like wearing a hat while being naked... idk if this is super weird haha but that's how i felt intensely for like three weeks
Super love the idea of archiving pictures of your outfits. Do you keep those pictures anywhere special (an app rec maybe?) or just a phone album? Do you categorize them in any way? Thanks, I love your calm and detailed vids!
i feel like whenever I change the way i style my hair (blowout or natural curls) or the colour, it totally changes my aesthetic, like my tastes, colour palette and even the silhouette and i hadn't put two and two together till now, very cool.

Do a video of your worst outfits! I love hearing analysis of previous choices and how they’ve evolved.
Love hearing about your style journey. I'm a dad who's inspired by you so hearing you're inspired by dads makes perfect sense somehow

Started using Indyx in the summer, and haven't looked back since 🔥
the point you made about hair is not to be understated and could be its own video
