I’m just a beginner, however I reviewed your 10 EMA method today on SPY. I was in AWE! Everything you said, was happening before my eyes. That was so cool. I’m not able to day trade, but I can swing trade with my options using your method. Thank you for sharing this video with everyone. You are truly a blessing. Thank you!
Loved the video and easy to understand strategy. I’ve been at this for 3 years now without much success. But the light came on for me. I will report back in a few weeks on how things are working out. Thank you for sharing such a great nugget for free.
Thank you Jerremy, falling in love with your content. There is barely anyone as excited while explaining the mysteries of the markets. 😀 This video seems especially helpful, as I can see this thing play out so many times in so many different instruments and so many timeframes it is not even funny. I want to ask, what risk to reward ratio you use on these trades?
I noticed it goes to 1R nearly every time. 57 % on some backtest with 2R. Sometimes there is monstrous potential when you catch the beginning of a trend. With some kind of trailing stop.
Interesting no waiting for specific candlestick patterns. Also, interesting candle counter to trend. Never would have thought :). Been always looking for bullish above bearish below. Thanks!
Just visited your website. Watched the beginners course and took the quiz. In that video, you stated (it's even pictured in the slides) that there's multiple free courses, but i can only find the one...
Thanks for the vid, probably had this question before, so sorry, but how far above do you put your entry limit order and how far below do you put your stop loss, thank you
Hi Jeremy. Thank you so much for this. I have been practicing. A question. If the 1st bear candle above the 10 is a bit far from the 10 but we get another bear candle a couple of bars later and it is closer to the 10 , should we use that for entry or wait for price to break above the 1st bear candle? Thanks for the input.
Hi, Jeremy! I've been practicing this strategy on Forex pairs for some time now. I noticed that in this video you didn't look for the trend. Would you say that that is necessary? For example, if the trend is bullish do I look for a bearish candle that's above the 10 EMA and then place my entry?
Hi Jeremy, thanks a billion times for this amazing concept. You are really a star. Just a quick question / request. Can we see an example like this on crypto charts? Cz, personally, I feel the concepts work very well on stocks and forex but a lotta stuff doesn't work so easily on crypto... so just a request if you can explain any concept or anything of your choice over crypto charts next time. God bless!
Nice. You’re gonna like it a lot, but 15 minute chart works well, but use the 15 minute as the bigger timeframe and then go down to a smaller timeframe for your actual trading.
i have a question about the Entry in this strategy : you wait for the first Bear candle that closes above the 10 ema, then you enter "above" that Bear candle. Question : Do you enter the trade when the Bull bar forms and passes above the high of the Bearbar (with the risk that the bullbar turns into a Bear after you enter) or do you enter the Trade when the Bullbar closes above the Bearbar. When you wait for the close you could be far away from the high of the Bear ...
"Question : Do you enter the trade when the Bull bar forms and passes above the high of the Bearbar (with the risk that the bullbar turns into a Bear after you enter)" Yes :)
I believe he is using the aftermarket to set up the trade so the long setup is confirmed when that bull bar appears. Then it's a matter of whether it's a market buy or limit buy just a notch below the close. Most exchanges have discount commission for market makers so limit buy is cheaper. With that in mind it really should be backtested which order is more optimal for higher w/l + r/r profile since both will be fairly different.
Interesting concept. I didn't hear any mention of "always trade above the 200ema" or volume references. Is it unnecessary in this strat? Iwould think any stock hitting those kinda lows will be below the 200ema.
@@BobSmith-fx5tt you can factor those implements in… sure. =] This is the base line strategy. With practice and other tools you can implement and become even better!!
Thanks for the reply. Gonna give it a try. It seems you rely on the candle action alone. Interesting. If it is far below the 200 there is room for profit before rising to it.
@@assafalmog2868 nope. :) you can trade it in any direction Of course, the 200 can be used as a target or a support or resistance if you know it in the way
I know you mentioned "first bull/bear candle below/above the 10" but what is lets say on the long side, a series of bearish candles print and now the first bear candle is well above price action, Do you ever move your entry to the last bearish candle printed or just sit out of the trade?

why are we not using options for daily trades like these?? Our risk reward makes a ton more sense, instead of risking .7 to make 1 or something similar. We are risking 1 or if properly managed .4-.6 to make 2x+
