The great ocean liners R.M.S. TITANIC and R.M.S. LUSITANIA had to suffer the same fate together at different times, but their true fate was sinking down by the head. So many of their passengers and crew suffered the same fate between April 1912 to May 1915 with sadness and depression that would haunt their lives forever.
RMS LUSITANIA suffered almost the same fate as RMS TITANIC did three years earlier. But LUSITANIA is still my favorite ocean liner that deserves more appreciation as the TITANIC, I am sure LUSITANIA will become a new Hollywood/British motion picture in cinema theaters!
Very impressive, great talent. Appreciated your use of the titanic score…. Especially “a building panic” has to be my favourite piece of movie music, really brings the emotional drama to the sinkings, always thought it would match well to a movie about any maritime tragedy and your work further proves that. Keep it up!! ❤
I used to see Jack quite often but he is so dedicated to these animations ,I hardly see him at all . I am so proud of you Jack ,keep up the good work ❤
Excellent job with the models! Where to start - on Titanic and Lusitania you can really see the differences between Cunard vs White Star Line styling. I also like how you model the horizontal strakes/plating of the bows properly, with the cross sections flaring outwards. Too many modelers give their ships a simple "flatiron" shape, which is not historical. Can't wait to see more.
I don’t make these models sadly but the amazingly talented Kyle Hudak created the Olympic Class models, Felis Leopard created the Lusi Class and Lucas Gustaffson created the Laconia, SS Atlantic, SS New York and Aquitania!
Gotta say I loved the Million Dollar Shot recreated with Lusitania, it's always lovely to see other ships getting the love they deserve Your job is outstanding, my complete and whole admiration goes to you Jack! Can't wait to watch a "historically accurate Titanic collision" with a mix of recreated shots from different movies (Titanic from 1943, 1953, 1997, 2012 miniseries and ANTR from 1958)
WOW. Every moment of this 12 minutes and 25 seconds is just absolutely remarkable! Love the fact that we finally get to see these legendary ships with photo-real animation. 0:39 this shot of Titanic took my breath away when I first saw it. Keep up your amazing work Jack! It’s very much appreciated.
“Well, you have a gift Jack… you do…”. Oh my good god, Jack! This was so awesome, and haunting at the same frickin time! 💙💙 First of all, loved this show reel! It’s wonderful to see how this experience means the world to you, and how your animations express that! (And by the way, what was that wartime ocean liner? Is that a sneak peek? 👀The sinking looked violent from the brief glimpse we saw of it… 🧐) Secondly, the use of Horner’s score is brilliant. Usually, most animations just kinda toss it in there, just to have some music. But here, of course you took the time to actually match the tracks with what was being shown. It’s also nice to see it represented by all the liners here and not just Titanic. (Albeit, of course you had to match the famous Titanic pan shot with that choir suite from ‘A Building Panic’ track. It’s iconic for a reason. 😅🙌🏻). This really was amazing, Jack! Hope to see more showreels of other liners! Keep it up, man! 👌🏻✌🏻💙
Goes without saying but I'd drop cash money for a half-hour loop of the Kaiser Wilhelm der Grosse cruising around like this. It's my favourite but gets a bit neglected sadly.
great video! It is one thing that I have been thinking about for an incredibly long time now is whether the Titanic's machinery, winches and especially capstans were green. I have done my own reasearch and concluded that they should have been green. But in all these animations they are black. I have also noticed that Titanic honor and glory has also made the capstans black. This confuses me so much! Is there something I have missed? I would be very happy for an answer!
Really very impressive work! It would be interesting to know how you did the wake and generally the water effects on the bow? I've been trying to create something like that in Blender for ages, but haven't found the solution yet. I've been looking into Unreal Engine now as well. If you care to share your process, I'd appreciate it! Keep up the terrific work! :)
Cool Video. Love all the ships. Question is this a remake of a previous video that had the Shin Godzilla music? Just asking as I remember that video and loved it just the same.
@@9mmhobbes The 4th funnel served as ventilation for the galley areas and smoking lounge so it would probably carried abit of smoke from the kitchens and smoking lounge but not as much as the other funnels as it wasn't connected to any boiler rooms.
@@imagaybanana2004 Oceanliner designs didn't make a video about the 1942 Laconia incident but he did make a video on the 1963 sinking of the cruise ship Lakonia. I guess he will probably make it at some point since he did post in April that he would make a video on Laconia of 1942 but maybe not very soon. I don't know though but just a guess.
Well done Jack! Your animations are superb. :)
Agree, Mike . Very well done, Jack .
Could not agree more!
We will need to look into you working with us :)
So proud of you, Jack; you have come so far in the last 6 months 😃
1:54 I've always loved that whistle/horn arrangement. It's like, Cunard, guys, you got enough noisemakers on there?
2:25 Nice model of the Britannic.

Wow beautiful!! We should have ships like this again. But no, we have icon of the seas, circus on the water.

9:17 another right music for same shot as the music itself
Sir could you please fit the titanic honor and glory 2024 animation with james horner's music.
What are the other ships that you have given in this video except titanic, Lusitania, Empress of Ireland
beautiful work, boyo. are we going to get to actually sail on the titanic or just tour it in the docks?
wait a second, why is the fourth funnel on the titanic blowing smoke? the 4th one was fake.
