As someone learning Blender, SFM, and XPS at the same time, I believe posing is one thing, but animation is a whole level I can't grasp. Doing a fantastic job.
The footsteps approaching the arena were deafening. Captain, Agent 8, and i rush into the arena, desperate to find our 2 companions. We take a glance up, and we see them. My little buddy, tied up dangling from the destroyed Octobot King the Captain fought so long ago. To Smallfry’s left, we see her. Agent 4. She was the one overshadowed by us, and people regularly never talked about her. I look at her eyes, and they are not her usual color, as well as weird goo on her head. “Agent 4!” 8 and i yell out. “Smallfry! I’m coming!” Captain and 8 tell me she’s been sanitized, and that they both fought like this before. However, The orange-haired inkling has had enough of being the forgotten agent. She leaps down from the arena, gripping her hero shot, causing a ruckus. Captain glances over to us, and i look over to 8. The captain exclaims, “We need to subdue Agent 4 first!” 8 appears nervous, as her memories of fighting the captain back when she was Agent 3 come flooding back to her. Reluctantly, i hold my tri-stringer, 8 holds her blaster, and Captain holds her hero shot. Agent 4 stares down at us with her cold, sanitized eyes. “Finally…after years of being disregarded…i’ll have the spotlight shine on me…AND I WON’T LET THE THREE OF YOU GET IN MY WAY!”
Captain: (laughs a little) 4, youre unbelievable. The lengths that you will go to copy me, are honestly... kind of flattering. Also, whats with the cape? You could try to be less obvious. You are a smart person, i thought youd learn from my past mistakes, but it seems that maybe the saying has some merit after all. History is doomed to repeat itself. Agent 4: Thats where youre wrong, Captain... Unlike you, im not going to lose. Captain: I like your confidence, but youre outnumbered 3 to 1, what do you have to say for yourself? Agent 4: 3 to 1? I like those odds... (They jump into battle) Sorry for the roleplay, but its just a fun idea, to have agent 4 as the Villain. I hope they do something like this in Splatoon 4. It would be the perfect continuation of 4s character, to have them go on a villain arc after being the fogotten agent for so long. Except maybe they should do it out of free will, instead of brainwash, as that would add more weight to the situation.
Dang, i made the comment back in summer school, and lemme tell you, i am all for the idea of 4 being a villain in Side Order! I made a concept like this where 4 either puts on the shades and gets hypnotized, and then the sanitization process. Either or would be great! Thanks for reading that, too!
@@OctoAgent3 I feel like the idea of an Agent 4 villain arc where they are tired of being the forgotten agent would feel so much more impactful and powerful if they purposefully wait until Splatoon 4. Just think about it, what if they purposefully leave Agent 4 out of Splatoon 3 entirely, completely neglected. Think of how much more powerful the message would feel. It would really cement the idea that Agent 4 is living in the shadow of the other agents, jealous of them and how they always seem to get the spotlight. It would also be perfect... Splatoon 4... Agent 4... It just makes too much sense.
Where to begin, this is one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen anyone do in terms of fan content for any Nintendo game, not just for splatoon, I absolutely love it, in less than a minute you have managed to convey so much personality with things like the characters movements and expressions, bravo!
I actually really like the graphics of this. It reminds of Kingdom Hearts 3's Winnie the Pooh world. I would totally play a game with graphics like this!
I have no words. We MUST have Agent 4 be a villain in Side Order. This animation is TOO good to be fanmade. Edit: Side Order's out, and I'm disappointed that Agent 4 wasn't a villian.
I think they should wait until Splatoon 4. It would make so much sense to have agent 4 as the villain in splatoon 4. It would also make the twist even more powerful, since if agent 4 gets no attention in all of splatoon 3, then their argument of being the forgotten agent becomes that much more real and impactful. I think they should totally do something like this, but instead of being brainwashed or controlled, agent 4 should become a villain of their own free will, tired of being the forgotten agent. I think having no cheap "brainwash" excuse would add so much more weight to the situation, since you know that you cant just save them by removing some shades or goo.

The one part that connects is how agent 4 is the least liked of all of the agents, so having her be a villain would be the best and so people may like agent 4 too
I don’t know why but It’s so cute when Inkling and Octoling ears move! They look so cute! This is such a masterpiece; absolutely amazing! Perfecto! Elegante! Kudos to you for being such a talented person! Keep going!!!
Backstory: Agent 4 hated being compared to the other agents being seen as the weakest link compared to them all. To prove her worth, she trained vigorously but accidentally stumbled upon the goo that hijacked Agent 3. And in a Callie-like fashion, she lets the Goo control her mind and her skill exponentially increased. In a GTA V similar fashion, this version of splatoon has the player switching between Agents 3, 8, and Neo 3 completing different stages needed to progress. And for the final boss battle, the agents are out up against an Agent 4 who reached her full-potential. This is just a fun story to make that sets the stage for this cutscene
Imagine that in Side Order you have to fight Agent 4 this time and It turns out that he/She is stronger than Agent 3 💀 Anyways, pretty good animation, so smooth!!!

YOU ACTUALLY ANIMATE AGENT 4 HOLDING HER HERO SHOT PROPERLY! As a P-90 fanatic, I always cringe when I see how the character holds the weapon in-game and it's so goofy. It's practically done perfectly here though.
