Today on the channel I'm speaking about By Kilian Angels' Share Fragrance, one of the two new fragrances from Kilian which also includes Roses On Ice which you can see my review here: • BY KILIAN ROSES ON ICE... With By Kilian Angels' Share I get lots of Butterscotch and Caramel with apples in Angels' Share but not super sickly sweet and dense variety but almost a diet variety, light, thin and airy, refined but weird I wanted more depth but I don’t get it. I do love the smell though and it’s very addictive, I keep wanting to smell it and keep wearing more and more of it.

Fun fact: the term "Angel's Share" in whiskey distillery refers to the alcohol content that's lost to evaporation through the oak barrels over the years as it ages. That coupled with a bottle that looks like a solid crystal whiskey glass, I'm expecting something ultra boozy from this one!
Same for cognac distilleries. Rumors have it that some smart German colonels spared the houses in Cognac with black roofs (due to the mold growing from the fumes) - when they bombed everything else.
It's 2023 and it's my favorite. Couldn't get enough of it. The presentation is to my liking as well, and the olfactives!! Goodness, it's such a masterpiece for me. I don't mind it being thin, it's already perfect as it is, at least for me.
Angels Share is such a beautiful and well blended fragrance!😃 Best release from 2020 by far! 👌
Real baklava does not have honey in it, BUT it does have a syrup with the slightest flavor of rose and pistachios, along with the spices. Sounds GOOOOOD.

I absolutely love Angels share....I agree its dangerously addictive and intoxicating. My 50ml bottle has a huge dent after 1 week...and that is me wearing it for myself.
Am I crazy or is there a slight similarity to Dior Fev Delicious? I do prefer Angels Share however I I now have a new appreciation for Fev. Maybe its the Cassis or Cinnamon note. Thanks for another excellent video.

Got a sample of Angels Sgare today. Beautiful scent. Loved it straight away. Boozy, spicy. Slightly sweet. I like it Soo much more than “ Straight to Heaven which smelt like an oak barrel to me or the wooden door 🚪 department at the hardware store which isn’t really my idea of heaven . I can see why others might like that one.
I've just tried a sample of this today , 1 hour later bought a 250ml carafe. Its absolutely gorgeous
Did you notice any difference between the carafe and the sample? Has it been reformulated?

The way perfume smells is more important to me than projection, but if I'm spending a lot on it I'd like it to last at least a couple of hours. Brilliant post Sebastian. Thank you.
I managed to get my hands on a bottle and i rank this no1 in Kilian fragrances. But I also love Straight to Heaven & Black Phantom. Liaison Dangerous is a really good summer fragrance too.
Not in that order but I definitely love those 3. I need to pick up Straight to Heaven one day.

I own a bottle of Angels Share and I get exactly what you are saying!!! I love it a lot and was very happy to see a new launch from the house. I wear many Kilian fragrances and this new one is very much Kilian!!!!
Do you like Angel Share more than side effect by Initio? Which would you recommend?
I got it and i really like it, definitely has the vibe of AN and Oajan, but i like this a bit more, the booze and that butterscotch effect you get from the praline is just amazing. I would also throw in The House of Oud's Dates Delight in the ballpark of these "apple pie" fragrances, that one does it with dates instead though, but you get a similar vibe! Really good stuff too.
Smell is most important, but performance is necessary. It is annoying when a perfume is reformulated and made weaker. I do love projection and sillage, but none of that matters if it does not smell amazing.
Angel's Share is a great one imo as well.
Angels’ Share is definitely my number 1 Kilian, then Black Phantom is second and Love would be third. I got my Angels’ Share 4 weeks after launch. It is pretty dense and performs very decent on my skin. I got a compliment ever after 7 hours of wearing it. Lasts 8+ hours on my skin. Great review though!
Go get a backup for only 125 at Costco .
I so love Angels Share, its a really good release. I did my review on it and will be incorporating it in future videos also.
Within 3-4 months from now, all clones houses would have their inspired version for this fragrance thanks to the hype. The perfume is self is easy to be replicated. So save your money.
Over a year later, do you have any good clones to recommend?
Sebastian, I tried it and could not put my finger on what fragrance it reminded me, but then it clicked, for me Angel Share is really similar to Feve Delicieuse by Dior!

Is this a redundant buy if I already own margiela jazz club? I looooooove jazz club and it sounds like it’ll be a similar smell.

I only buy a fragrance if i really like it and makes me feel happy. Is that how i should do it? I meam some fragrances turned out to be very similar.
Gorgous sweet and boozy scent.
I get a licorice/ouzo vibe in the drydown.
And i also think its more feminine...but hey idgaf i love the scent!!!

When you say this fragrance is thin all i can think of a glass of cognac on the rocks specifically when the ice is slightly diluting the cognac and you're left with that light boozy smell. Am I making any sense? Lol

no wonder this has cognac nuances. angel's share is the term for the bit that evaporates through the barrels when cognac/whisky matuers. it just goes to the angels in heaven.

Love my new sample of this. Be careful with spray distance with this one. IT WILL STAIN LIGHT COLORED CLOTHING.

Smelled of cognac to me
i adore apple brandy it is very well crafted cinnamon&apple mixed with liquor - the only down side I can see is longevity is weak 3-4 hours - after that period i have to make my nose so close at the area at which is sprayed to smell the base notes after the dry-down-
I didn't try angles share yet because I have ojan which I don't like much it kinda reminds me of Cinnabon dessert
Definitely smell over performance for me, but if the performance is too bad I wouldn't buy it. I need to buy a sample of this one. Thanks Sebastian!
Just left Sephora to smell this. The first squirt, it smells like aged liquor. I didn’t like that! 😢 I sprayed it on my wrist and now I smell a burst of all the ingredients as I’m driving to work! It’s really starting to pick at me now as a great smell! Not something I would purchase but I’ll wear it as a gift.
I actually purchased mine the same you did except in store. The had to grab my bottle from the back and I had to take it without a box. Live it though
A thin Fragrance to me means it wears and performs elegant and would't say that it is a negative Attribute of the Fragrance but it is nice to know.
A great Chance to work on a thicker Extremé Version for those who likes the Fragrance that way. Win/Win.

Smell and then performance. But no matter how much I like the smell, if it doesn’t perform well then I probably won’t buy it. I’m actually nervous about a scent that I finally got my hands on... Casablanca Lily. I’ve been using the sample that my SA made and I don’t know if it’s worth purchasing. And I looooove the scent. It could be the sprayer that only allows a small amount at a time (as it is a small sample bottle) but I’m not sure.

I agree this Angels share is awesomely smelling fragrance but not beefier, but on the other hand roses on ice is very long lasting , much better longevity than angel’s share.
I sprayed some on myself and I could smell it even though I had a mask on. I like it!
Since its not as beefy as you'd hoped, would you consider spraying it on generously as in 6-8 sprays and also your clothes, to increase the performance???
I just picked mine up from Bloomingdales and they said they don't do refills and to contact Kilian directly. Kilian says you have to purchase the carafe for $700...does that sound right?

The smell is way more important to me because I am allergic to perfumes. They make me nauseous or they give me a headache, so I don't mind too much when they fade.
Great review as usual Sebastian! I was able to get this one when it first came out. I love the fragrance, however, the longevity is not great.

Angel Share is in my opinion a realy good scent composition, I like the fragrance but the bottle is crap compared to the "old" bottles. The "old" bottles have this classic chic... why change what is actually perfect...😩

Finally got to smell this yesterday that opening is incredible but the dry down after a few hours reminds me of something can’t put finger on but didn’t bother purchasing

I love Angels Share but find it redundant coming from Kilian. Having said that, I do wear it often. I wouldn't have purchased it if I had already owned Apple Brandy or Single Malt.
Angels' Share 😇 sounds like the perfect name for this fragrance, per your description. Perhaps "Devils' Share" 😈 could be their beefier flanker 🤔😆

That would be amazing. I want the rum scent to last longer in it, for me it just goes away too fast. I’m left with this very pink girly scent that leans very very feminine.
Angel's Share is sold out where I shop. I'm on the mail list when it is available. Ugh. In New Orleans we say prah leens haha. Bois 1920 has some nice frags too.

I thought this one was good but not anything remarkable and frankly overhyped if I'm being perfectly honest. Personally, I'm much more of a fan of Single Malt and Apple Brandy but I will say the price for this one is really good, especially compared to other Kilian frags. Interested in seeing what else he comes up with for the Liquors line. I do know that he plans on tweaking Apple Brandy and Single Malt or at least was thinking about doing so, so we'll see how that goes.

Dont get the hype around this one... honestly, this juice is nothing special comparing to other Killians, apart form prominent and quite airy cogniac note. The bottle is stunning though.
