I know right when I was a kid I never read the story or even bother trying to know why up with it. But now as an adult replaying the game it really was misunderstood.
@@rhysmichel6585 It IS an empty husk. My thought is that it was always trying to find a way to fill itself, make itself whole again. But always failing. Always suffering. Always cold.
He's just very loyal I guess. Or a kind of robot, I don't know. It's meant to be an empty shell after all. It could have decided to act by itself in Black/White form tho. But pokeball apparently have a brainwashing effect on pokemon across the whole Pokemon franchise. That's why trainers sometime catch Pokemon just to stop them from being a threat.
@Vultania 5178 Very interesting view on it. I roughly think the same actually because they're not just like basic pokemon they're forces of nature who can eavily impact the ecosystem. Even though my only problem with that is I don't see why being caught or not would make a difference in being a threat for humans and pokemon.
@Vultania 5178 I see. Yeah it makes sense if someone controls the pokemon in the first place I guess. My problem was I don't see the point in catching wilde legendaries to make them less aggressive if you say they're already conscious that they're a threat for Nature and hide because of it 😅. The bad guys generally have to control the legendary thanks to a specific artefact for the scenario because you can't catch a pokemon again in order to save it (except in Colloseum and XD tho). I think it's believable to say Kyurem wanted you to catch it too , even tho it's just an empty shell. Because it certainly had a very enslaved and limited mind, preventing it to rebel. But it probably wanted to be saved and treated well nonetheless. I don't know if I would write an essay on it but this is definitely something interesting to think about to improve our comprehension of the lore.
This has to be my favorite lo-fi remix of yours. It feels like you caught Kyurem and are showing Lacunosa town that he isn't so scary after all! I will forever love Kyurem and his lore!
I had a long day at work and this really helps me unwind. The picture is a real cherry on top; seeing a Pokémon as feared and fearsome as Kyurem opening up to someone caring is one step closer to a truly ideal Pokémon world. A world N would fight for.
My 2nd favorite lo-fi remix of yours. I love how it almost feels frozen, but calm, as that fits in with kyreum and the background of the town. So good. And the art is adorable!
My interpretation of Kyurem's monster story, about how it froze and ate people and Pokemon is because it's a husk. It's trying to find a way to regain some semblance of what it once was, maybe find a hero as well, but is too violent and in the process and ends up making a meal of its candidates. But it's also in a lot of pain, I mean, it's very body is detrimental to itself. It has phenomenal power, but it's self-frozen body prevents that power from ever being used, which must leave it frustrated and in pain.
I disagree because as a kid I never read or even bother understand Kyurem. But after replaying Black and White 1&2 this time reading the story and following it, It was really misunderstood.
Oh boy, I have been waiting for this one. Sinnoh Kid to the Core, but despite this, I fell in Love with this theme the moment I heard it. Thx for this amazing piece
As a kid I also feel like that it creepy and scary. now as an adult replaying black and white 1&2 this time following and reading the story it was extremely misunderstood.
Since I first caught Kyurem in Black 1, it’s been my one of my #1 teammates. This is bringing back memories. Although, from personal experience, that art is strangely off; you’re not supposed to be touching the icy parts, your hand will freeze over. lol
I don’t really like this one. Feels a bit too creepy at the pitch changes. It kinda feels like being in an amusement park alone at night, it’s both calm and creepy.
For a long time I finally understand something as a kid I never pay attention to the story but now as an adult replaying it. Replaying it Kyurem was really misunderstood and that misunderstand is why it's creepy.
This really makes me feel like Kyurem is extremely misunderstood.

Lacunosa? EXTENDED? nice
You mean N-Ice!
lacuNosa? exteNded? Nice
This plays as Kyurem the ice dragon, makes its way to the town in search of people who haven’t gone inside after dark 👀
Spooky. I love Kyurem.
We all get the midnight munchies sooner or later.
Plot twist, he’s just lonely but everyone is scared of him ):
"This Legendary Ice Pokémon waits for a hero to fill the missing parts of its body with truth or ideals"
Or both.
Make your ideal come to reality.
@@Kuudere_Fanboy we never got to see the original dragon even now 😢
I don't know why but I think it be best if we leave it as a mystery.
@@vvcreative2628 maybe in b/w remakes 🤔
Kinda fitting for it to have small creepy bits considering the legend of the town. It's a lovely place, but does have a dark secret.
Nate be like:
"Don't worry, it wasn't your fault for almost killing me"
Well it wasn’t. At that point ghestis had full control of kyurem

Pretty remix and the art of the player hugging Kyurem is the most precious thing I've seen in a while

What an adorable image. This makes the imposing, ice dragon known as, "Kyurem" seem like a cuddly creature.
