Nala-e-sayyad se honge nava saamaan-e-tu’yur
Khoon-e-gulcheen se kali rangeen qaba ho jayegi
Aankh jo kuch dekhti hai lab pe aa sakta nahi
Mahv-e-hairat hoon ke duniya kya se kya ho jayegi
Shab gurezaan hogi aakhir jalwa-e-khursheed se
Ye chaman ma’mur hoga naghma-e-tauheed se
English Translation:
You will witness the ultimate fate of the river’s mighty flow,
The restless waves will themselves become shackles for their feet.
Once again, hearts will remember the call to prostration,
And foreheads will become acquainted with the dust of the sanctuary.
The hunter’s cries will prepare new songs for the birds,
The blood of the flower-picker will dye the buds in vibrant colors.
The eye sees much but cannot put it into words,
I am lost in wonder-what will become of this world?
The dark night will eventually flee before the sun’s radiance,
This garden will flourish again with the melody of Tawheed.
