  • When installing an Xtreme Clutch kit, part numbers KGM26631-1A and KGM26631-1C it is important to fit the supplied spacer to ensure that the differing finger height is accounted for by the bearing. These kits are applicable to the Holden VE and VF Commodore with the LFX V6 engine.

I watched one video before which was perfect. An abs pump unit I filled the holes with fluid before fitting. That way bleeding was much easier. This video I saw on concentric clutch. The guy filled it with brake fluid from a cup first before he’d installed it into a gearbox. Clever

You guys might be able to answer this as I'm struggling to find the info I'm looking for. With the manual trans from the 2016-2019 lfx bolt up to the 2.8 lp9. I'm sure there is going to need to be a spacer or something to make it work 100% for my project I'm trying to find this info out before i start the build to be prepared for what i may need. Thank you.

      Hi,
The spacer is only required with specific kits such as this heavy duty upgrade where the finger height is different. Different kits may require different sized spacers. This particular one is included with the clutch kit as they are specific to our upgrade kit. If you have any further questions, please contact our friendly sales team (sales@australianclutch.com.au) and they will be able to assist you.
      Thanks

      Hi Darren,
This video is for installing the CSC with our heavy duty upgrades for this vehicle and a spacer is required to be installed with these upgrades due to changes in the clutch design.
      Thanks
