Hello, I know it’s been 3 or 4 month’s since this video or longer. I just want to add that it was very helpful and to let you all know that at present time you do not have to wait until your Champion to come to Isle armor. I have 3 badges and was able to do all the things in the video.
The part with Hop is meant for Post-Game. You need to beat Hop in the Slumbering Weald so that he becomes Sonia's Assistant in order to get him to show up on the Isle of Armor.
Completed it already. Just working on the Pokédex. Love the Style card you get too. Really opens up the fashion for both genders. Love the fact that Poliwhirl, Magnezone and Kangaskhan are back.
I'm planning on buying the dlc (both IOA and CT). My whole team is at level 100 so I'm kind of worried about it being a bit too easy... EDIT: It was WAY too easy. But Crown Tundra was pretty fun.

Hi there, I've got a question: Once your friendship with Kubfu is strong, and it is recommended to train it until at least level 70 before you go into one of the two towers, can you _leave_ the Isle of Armor and go back to Galar's main Wild Area (North and South) to train Kubfu in a honest way?
Here’s a tip for going to tower of water or darkness, you should always make sure Kubfu learns counter because it was a huge mistake for me, so learn counter or else you’ll struggle a lot while your at the last floor of tower of water/darkness
I was satisfied with not getting the DLC and getting various pokemon through surprise trade but the EXP charm to me makes this all worth it, even before factoring in Crown Tundra. I'm sold.
So, it's like a proper new story game game? I need to know, because I'm not sure if I should put my Golden Deer playthrough on hold or wait until that's finished.
You could beat it at any pace it has a story but I guess you could say it’s like an extra wild area when you buy the dlc it also gives the crown tundra both for 30$ so it’s a win
I'd like to Ash get a Kubfu. Unfortunately, he would only be able to evolve one of two forms of Urshifu, depending on what Tower he decides to train it in. So Ash would have to choose either the Tower of Darkness or the Tower of Water, but he wouldn't be able to choose both. If only there were a third form that utilizes components from the first two forms of Urshifu. like Lycanroc's dusk form.
How did Kubfu level up from lvl 10 to 61in a few minutes? does he lvl up after you see the sights, or did you shove xp candies down his throat off -camera?
Dude we all have access to all that exp candy, wouldn't be a souprice that he had it up to 61. Honestly the only detriment from that is you need to be able to level up to still train EVs, and NOT level up to 100 straight.
I own both games and am only able to get this particular Isle on my Shield game. But unfortunately I don't have internet access so I can't play it. *Sigh* 😔 However I did buy another Switch system so I can do trade evolutions as I own ALOT of Pokemon games for Switch and now I can get an Alakazam or Gengar now. But as this DLC is on my Shield game I get the Slowpoke at the station every time I start a new game, but without internet access I can't evolve it. But it's not a total loss as since you can't catch a Slowpoke anywhere in the game, it's rare to have even though the internet says it's stats are apparently worse than a Magikarp's I still like using it as it's a Psychic and Water type combo. Sure I can't evolve it but hey if the people who made this game wants to give me a Pokemon that doesn't exist AT ALL in the game, I'm not going to judge. Plus from experience from other games, I know that Slowpoke's may start off weak but as they level up they get really strong moves, so again I can't evolve it but I get a free Pokemon that isn't in the game, plus I like the gold on its head to. PROBLEM: So I’ve played through the main story of the regular galar region, and I’ve become the champion. I’ve gotten up to the point where you evolve Kubfu at either tower, but when I got back to the Dojo, the Hop cutscene isn’t happening, did I miss something to trigger this event from happening?
@@danisweetlove IVE GOT IT. Fortunately the way to trigger this event is to not only complete the MAIN game but the POST game as well. Not completing the post game prevents you from activating said events. Hopefully you’re able to do the post game and come back to trigger the event, because I REALLY don’t wanna restart my game if it’s locked me out from getting to that point.

I triggered the event but fell asleep in the midst of it lol. I’ll finish it eventually and start working on the crown tundra.
Charlie Lawless I figured it out. I never tried returned to hop where the legendaries appear. Had to do the whole dynamax Pokémon in the gyms thing and catch my legendary.
I can't wait to evolve my Kubfu into rapid style strike Urshifu And just to be clear, if you choose RSS or SSS Urshifu, will the game end the same way?
