I was there and will never, ever forget "The Run" by AP. Class of 99'
The triple option continues to be a very effective way of moving the football!
AP was a beast .
Jim Tressel former Head Coach of Youngstown State and Ohio State vs Paul Johnson the Current Head Coach of Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

96' Marshall would kill either of these teams.
No not at all gsu featured the best running back in FCS history that's an ignorant comment and your comparing teams of different years
Half of Marshall's team from 96 played pro football. I promise you, there is no comparison. They could have won the title game 70-0 if they wanted. They eased up at 49-6 or it would have been much worse than 49-29. That's against a team that was stomping everyone.
cockyjeremy yeah right, GSU is notorious for a team rolling teams, even the good ones. Pair up one of the most prolific running offenses in FCS History against Marshall? That's madness.
cockyjeremy You can't blow out elite option teams unless you have an elite defense. I don't remember 96 Marshall for their defense.
rkwittem It was full of future NFL guys. Trust me, they were just as good. Starters probably allowed less than 50 points the entire season.
