Yea we def are not taking a safety in the first round lol we literally just drafted 3 in last years draft and signed x in free agency 😂
Let him have some fun it’s the first one😂
I agree though
You should be allowed to to announce one of the Packers picks this year in Green Bay
Oh shit here we go boys it’s started
Brother I've been doing mock sims for like a week now and its never been a bigger waste of time but I cannot fucking stop. Its a problem.
Welcome back, Ross! With the Senior Bowl this weekend, it will be interesting to see if the Packers once again load up on players from that game. By the way, do you ever look at newsstand draft mags like Lindy's and Athlon? I always look forward to Lindy's when it arrives in early March, but of course it's instantly out of date because it goes to press prior to the combine and free agency.
If Gute can get a 3rd rd for JA he deserves GM of the year!
GO PACK GO!! Damn it seems like you just finished the 2024 draft report. A year goes by quick!!
Waking up this morning to see the daily draft made my entire day. Thanks Ross!
This is exactly what I needed
welcome back for season 2! glad to have your content!
I really, really want Benjamin Morrison.
Letsssssss go! Love to see ya Ross
I'm glad to see these again. Fyi my friends loved the draft guide last year
Been waiting for this!
Welcome back; perfect timing. Edges!
Players win games, playmakers win championships.
Ross, would love to see a segment on the difference makers at each position and what round you think they'll be taken.
Thank you for doing this, Ross!
Since this is the early part of "Draft mania season" (at least for us plebs), could you do an overview of this draft class? What are it's strengths and weaknesses? I've heard that DL is a strength, is that true? What positions possibly have some slim pickings? How is this draft class affected by the football portal, NIL, and the ability for college programs to pay their players for sticking around an extra year? Who are your favorite prospects?
I stopped watching the packers after they lost to MN. I knew it was time for draft season and here we finally are!
Welcome back Ross!!
Go Pack Go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we are so back
Back at it!
Its back boys!
Idk I'm not feeling Mykel Williams. Could be great but wasn't very productive. Kinda over taking a project in the 1st round, and I get they're all projects to some capacity, but we haven't proven we can actually develop these projects. Hopefully whoever the new Dline coach changes this, but give me someone with more proven production as a pass rusher even if they end up just being a rotational specialist.
Nick Nash is having a really bad Shrine Bowl. Production is high but tape against good teams is very tough.
I really like Royals!!
A 3rd for Jaire seems rich...........probably more like a 6th
Nice mock....I would have loved to see someone like Jahdae Barron go to the pack in the first, but I got a feeling he won't fall that far.
If they go cb they are taking the guy from ND or ECU. Both top CBs that got hurt this year and will fall to us. People had the ECU kid as a top ten pick before his injury. With the jaire situation this is a dream scenario for us with these two falling CBs
Yes nick would be the best player at that spot in first round
I mean for this to sound more constructive than whiny, but I’d love/appreciate if you’d specify the position of the player, as well as their name.
I typically watch on my phone and the resolution of the screen share doesn’t really help me know what position Mikel Williams plays.
Packers need to snag mike green DL (marsh.)
Or jarron bad. CB (Texas) 1st round edg cooper pick was phenomenal last season countuine need to get fast physical great IQ athletes in postion of need !! All the teams in the playoffs are physical period...
Jahde Barron please
Savion Williams is 4" taller than Shenault and does what he does. I dunno about gimmick player, the coaches use him the way they use him. Not his fault.
GB aint takin a damn safety, who the hell did this? 1st rd pick you kidding me? All of this will change after the combine and especially Free agency. After teams have signed big names this whole mock changes...
Kicker in rd 3
Aww shit. Here we go again.
I'll never understand this guys hatred for Doubs. why would we not pay him?
Doubs is replaceable. Why would you want to pay him?
@@Matt-yq3gq Because he's not going to cost that much and he is the only consistent WR we have. Why replace him when it makes more sense to replace literally 4 other guys?
@@kinggriffinhammer6834 he’s consistently a number 3 level WR who doesn’t beat coverage man enough, got himself suspended for pouting about his targets, and is a concussion away from career ending discussions. That isn’t a player you give a 2nd contract to, unless you believe the “not much money” is really not much money at all and that other teams wouldn’t offer more and the packers could indeed get him very cheap. Doubs gave some pretty good ROI as a 4th round pick playing a lot with decent production, but it doesn’t look very good when you pay that same player 10+ mil year, and if we’re honest you can find his talent in the draft for a fraction of the cost that an extension costs.
Hatred is a bit excessive. This was Doubs 3rd year and he didn't take the next step. Add in the Concussion concerns, the drops, AND that suspension and it's reasonable to look for a better option. I WANT Doubs to turn out great, but so far it's only been sporadic production from him. He only had 600+ yards receiving this year, right? In 3 years he's never gotten close to 1,000 yards in a season. While I can see him one day achieving that milestone, until he does, a certain amount of skepticism is warranted IMHO.
Concussion issues are HUGE…hope I’m wrong!
Big swing and a miss by PFN.
All I know is Gute absolutely cannot miss on this years first round pick no matter what position he drafts. If he does I think his job may come into question especially if the team regresses again.
While the Green Bay Packers have a strong group of skill players, they could consider adding a young playmaker like the young Clemson running back Phil Mafah, or Miami receiver Xavier Restrepo to the mix. That decision could depend on whether Green Bay retains restricted free agents Bo Melton and Emanuel Wilson. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛
